Morning all.  It's really frosty out today.  Hope it warms up a bit later as want to get out for a walk this afternoon.  Actually been out for a walk in the afternoons for the last few days but it's been really cold and muddy in places - really need to clean my trainers properly where I sunk into the mud yesterday afternoon!  Going to walk somewhere different today where it's solid ground hopefully.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up with sausages - 2 low fat sausages, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans - P; S; F; 2
    L - Welsh rarebit - HEA2; HEB; P; F
D - roast pork dinner - pork; roast potatoes, roast carrots, onions & peppers, green beans, peas - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
    Syns - 2 sausages 2

Brrrrrr!!! what a cold and frosty morning it is.  Not planning to go out there today unless it warms up.  It was sunny, but has clouded over quite a bit here now.

Had a lazy morning lounging in bed watching TV and drinking tea & coffee.  It's what cold Sunday mornings were made for.

No exact plan today, as I've told OH I am not cooking dinner tonight, so will have a think about what I fancy having and come back with a plan later.

Although I'm not planning to have it today, can anyone give me the syn values for Youngs Gastro Mediterranean Fish Bake please?  I got it on offer from MrT as an attempt to introduce more fish into my diet... I'm not much of a fish fan, so this is quite an effort on my part.  I'm hoping the more I eat it the more I may come to like it.  The yellow fin sole I had last night was OK, probably would have been better if I'd done some SW chips, rather than having it with mash & veg.  The veg seemed to trigger a really bad night for my digestion, so I had a wakeful night and lots of gaviscon :(  I can almost feel it happening even while I am eating a meal sometimes, and have no real clue why it gets triggered, especially bearing in mind I had the same vegetables about 4 times last week with no issues.

The fish bakes are 3 syns each sary. 😊 I'm like you and have stayed indoors reading the Sunday papers this morning. Well done for getting out for a walk denise. We've been a couple of times this week but not as motivated as in Lockdown Mark1. DH has been out this morning and he says police are out in force in our area, stopping cars. 🤔

I'm feeling a bit slimmer today so maybe something is working! Or maybe it's the black top I've put on and it's psychological! 🤣

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), bacon, fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- lentil and veg soup (P,S), satsumas (S)
D- JO roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes, peas (F), carrots, swede, red and green cabbage, cauli, broccoli
    Syns - gravy 4, weekend wine😁

The satsumas need eating up from Christmas and the peas should have been stirred into last night's jambalaya but I found them in the microwave this morning! 🤣

    Afternoon all

Well done Milann good loss 😁

Sary my sister had the same problem with heartburn, bread, instant coffee, tomatoes and this list goes on, but she can drink "posh" coffee just not instant, It started all of a sudden and she would literally be drinking bottles of gaviscon this went on for months but it has settled down again although she still can't dink instant coffee.
I had BLT egg wraps today and have roast beef dinner cooking 😋

Maman satsumas from Christmas!! i have bought about a tonne of fruit since then 🤣🤣

I had a leg of lamb in the freezer from before Christmas when it was on offer. Dh boned it out and with half of it made a rogan Josh (which I won’t touch with a barge pole....korma is adventurous for me 😂) I made a roast dinner with the rest of it. It was delicious. A couple of syns for gravy....otherwise free. The relative in our bubble came around so I made....or tried to make a Black Forest gateaux. I’ve used the Elmlea low fat double cream before but I couldn’t get it to whisk enough to go into a cake....so we had it deconstructed. I worked out the syns and it worked out about 15 so I’m happy with that. A weekend treat 😄

This talk of roast dinners makes me wish we'd had one, but it was my day off from cooking.  OH is just useless, left to his own devices, as he does no planning.  He had bananas in custard to start, a peanut butter sandwich, and because he was still hungry had a tin of rice pudding for supper.  At least he didn't go our for a Maccies I guess.

    Plan today:
B - porridge HEB, with splash of milk from HEA1, water & skinny syrup
L - chopped chicken thighs, cucumber, celery, tomato, Light mayo (1.5),  banana & banana muller light (1)
D - M&S count on us Chicken in creamy mushroom sauce meal (4.5) with LO mash
    snack - alpen bar (6.5)

No decaf coffee this evening, just a decaf tea, and hoping my stomach stays calmer.  Thanks for the tip bubbs

I've not checked in for a couple of days, I finally knuckled down and got my tax return done but staring at the computer all day has killed my eyes. The one is red and gross and so painful :disappointed: . But at least it's done now!

I decided to weigh in today 4lbs off! I know people usually lose a lot their first week, but I don't normally! usually I'm like half a pound so definitely celebrating that one!

I got up super late today so was beans on toast brunch, then a roast for dinner, I've celebrated finishing the tax return with a couple of oat biscuits and a couple of pots of black forest tea. x
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

    Good morning all,

Forgot I liked crispy kale, thank you whoever posted that!
Lost 5 pounds, happy with that but you do don’t you when you first start back. Id like another good loss this week and I would ultimately like to get my 3 stone award by the end of jane but we will see how it goes!

I like eggs, enjoy a boiled egg but equally like scrambled. Id eat it anyway to be honest lol.

On the menu this week is lentil soup for lunches, no rolls or bread but boiled eggs and pickled items. Chicken curry for a couple of nights and gammon steak later in the week.

I enjoyed the queens gambit, im currently working my way through How To Get Away With Murder!

Morning all.  Looking slightly better this morning, forecast to get up to 7 today!  so definitely warmer later.  Have a machine load of washing to hang out later but going to wait a little while yet!

Great loss pixtott and good luck for this week as well.  How much do you need to get to your 3 stone award?

Didn't get out for a walk yesterday - couldn't get my trainers dry until quite late so a bit late to go out - it would have been dark shortly after we left and where we walk is unlit!  But they're dry now so hopefully will get out later.

Today's plan is a Green day:

    B - baked oats, mixed frozen fruit, greek yoghurt - HEB; P; S; F
    L - 2 pea soup - P; S; F
D - squash and aubergine tagine; couscous - S; F (if I add a dollop of greek yoghurt then they'll be a bit of P!) - this is another new recipe from the current SW magazine

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
HEA2/HEB2 - Ryvita; Primula Light - if wanted this evening

    Have a good day everyone.
