An STS for me this week, which I was disappointed with, but hoping, as I definitely feel better from an nsv point, that it will reflect on a reasonable loss (for me!) next week. However, there was clearly something in the water this week, as of the 12 of us on zoom, there was only 1 loss, so my sole sts made me feel much better. The latest lockdown is already impacting on some members mental health, so they are desperately trying not to let it affect their eating habits, we tried to persuade them to think that we will be in lockdown until Easter because if we come out sooner, it will be a bonus, but if they think about coming out when Boris anticipates in Feb and it is extended, that will depress them.
Popped into Lidl on way home, not much fresh food in, not sure if it was lack of genuine deliveries, or it was panic buying, will sort out some batch cooking at the weekend with whatever I have.
Have bought an actifry, does anyone one know how long it will take to cook potatoes if I cube them about 1” square?

bubbs my pan is a 24 cm square one! I always used to use a 20 cm one before each but it started sticking really badly so gave up and bought the square pans which are brilliant but unfortunately all the pans are 24 cm square in different depths but they never stick!
I'd seen that can't take food into France but there is actually a loophole - you can take frozen food in! I don't actually take much with us other than a couple of ready cooked meals for the first day or two plus something to eat on the way over! So I'll just be taking what I can in the freezer box of the fridge.
pixtotts that sounds awful, glad you've got your fire going and managed to find your electric kettle so that you can at least have your cups of tea. Hope you can get the AGA sorted quickly.

Hope the aga is sorted soon.
I usually watch the programme about the different diets but missed it last night, like many on here I’m pleased I found Slimming World. I’ll get it on catch-up
I went onto my groups FB page last night and was greeted like a long lost friend by some of the ladies....the upshot is I’m going to try and do the zoom meeting at 10 on Saturday morning....not convinced it’s for me but I might surprise myself.
I had a wobbly moment yesterday when I was rummaging in the cupboard and moved a box of liquorice all sorts and a tub of cheddars...the lids shot off all by themselves and I found several of each jumped into my mouth....not all at once 🤭....anyway I counted them and stayed within syns.
Today we desperately needed to shop so before we went out I ate what we had in for breakfast - butcher’s sausage which has virtually no fat in.....I counted it as a low fat sausage - not sure if I should or not 🤔1 syn and a small bake yourself bread roll 6 syns tablespoon tomato ketchup 1 syn
dinner - HEB barmcake, low fat spread 1 syn roast beef, onion, cucumber and tomato. I just fancied some crisps with it so instead of scoffing the full bag I sealed the bag with a clip and only had half a bag...I got the taste and it was enough to satisfy the craving 3 syns
Tea - jacket with bolognaise (lots of speed in it) and hea cheese.January spends - £587.581 -
Evening all,
Denise you'll have to ask Beanie (when she next pops her head round the door) if she thinks I look 20yrs older than I am, as she's one of my chums on FB. I certainly feel it sometimes!
Pixtotts I hope you're feeling better and warmer tonight. We used to have oil central heating and once after the tank had been filled, the delivery guy had knocked a pipe, and the tank contents pretty much leaked out all over my garden over the course of a day or so. The smell was awful, and it killed so much of my plants/lawn.
Well today has been another on plan day
B - Porridge HEB, splash of milk from HEA1 and water, with skinny syrup
L - HM tomato soup, FF natural yog with mango & Mr Kip. angel slice with my colleague celebrating her b/day (7)
snack - banana
D - Pork loin steak, SW roasties, cauliflower/broccoli/sweetcorn/carrots/peas, gravy (2)
We've seen some of the new passports being issued at my workplace, and they look very odd. Not looking forward to having to replace mine this year (might leave it a while if we aren't going anywhere anytime soon). One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing

Oh dear pixtotts, I do hope it's sorted soon. Our (gas) boiler wouldn't work on Christmas Eve but we managed to get it sorted that day. We were lucky. 😊
Well done for staying on plan sary. You've so many stresses at the moment but glad you had some cake with your friend.
Until I joined SW I didn't realise that so many people turned to food and put on weight from comfort eating gtq. It must be so hard if they're not coping well with lockdown. You did well to STS. My DH went to Lidl on Monday and said stock was poor. We thought it was after New Year but it doesn't sound as if it's improved. I'm shopping tomorrow so hope I can get what I need. 🤔2 -
GTQ I would say do 8 mins, then respra and about another 4, it's trail and error, when i do chips they take about 25 mins, i do 15 then respray then another 10 usually,

Morning all. Well done on a STS GTQ. I'm also an emotional eater but have been really working on it for the last few months and think I'm starting to get there but it's definitely not easy to break those habits so can understand that people who are struggling with lockdown are turning to food for comfort.
Hope you manage to get the heating sorted soon pixtotts, but at least you have the fire and kettle to keep you going for a little bit.
It's so cold here that I'm on the thermal top and leggings topped with a thick jumper and have a blanket wrapped around me to try and stop me from freezing in our office. Breakfast this morning was scrambled eggs on toast which is very unusual for me as I can't stand scrambled egg most of the time (and don't get me started on omelettes, there's just something about them that makes me feel a bit strange) but for some reason it's what I wanted. Topped with lots of black pepper and it really hit the spot. Lunch will be mushroom soup and then we're having fajita bowls for dinner tonight.

Morning all. I love scrambled eggs and omelettes ruby. Funny how we are all so different about foods! My DD2 doesn't eat eggs at all but always used to when she was living at home, she just went off them when she was about 20 and hasn't eaten them since! The only way she'll eat them is if they are in something like a cake, LOL!
It's really foggy this morning but have done a machine load of washing and hung it up on the airer - absolutely no point putting out on the line! Just glad I didn't need to do towels as I hate drying them inside.
Today's plan:
B - veg omelette - P; S
L - jacket potato; beans; cheese; salad - HEA2; S; F
D - HM breaded fish, chips & peas - 0.5 HEB; P; F
S - 2 Ryvita, Primula Light, smoked salmon - 0.5 HEB; P; 2
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - cheese
HEB - 1 slice bread 0.5; 2 Ryvita 0.5
Syns - 25g Primula Light 2; possibly couple of rum & ginger beer if I fancy it

I love eggs but DH doesn't eat them (except in cakes like you said denise). He's happy to cook them for me though, so that's what matters. 😉 I think it's good to have a substantial breakfast but he's happy most days with a bowl of muesli although he does have heaps of fruit on it.
I've done my meal plan and will shop later. Fingers crossed here won't be any problem with stock. I don't need much other than fresh stuff so hoping for the best. I ate the water biscuits last night so that's 2 syns used this week so far!😁
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA1 milk, 2 fried eggs (P)
L- Beef stew (P,S,F)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, creamy cabbage with HEA2, mushroom, tomato, green medley (S)
Syns- tbc🤔1
