Well done Katie that's a brilliant loss.  As maman said it doesn't matter whether the scales are accurate or not as you will see where your weight is going.

That doesn't sound good Sary - that's going to put you under a lot more pressure.  I know what it's like working in a legal situation and it can be manic at times, especially on the admin side.  Can they not get in a temp to do the routine stuff like photocopying and bundles?  Hope you're OK after the flu jab.  I didn't have a problem after mine, just a sore arm for a day or two, DH was the same.

If it's the rye original Ryvitas then they are 1.5 syns each, the crackerwheat are 1 syn each.  Most of them are 1.5 each.  If it's something else then let us know and I can look them up for you.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - minestrone soup - P; S; F
    D - Mac n cheese with broccoli & carrots - HEA2; P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - bread
Syns - none planned but will no doubt have something (have 13 syns available for today)

Morning all, 3 days in and I def feel better, think the crap I have eaten is coming out of my skin just now. Spots!

I’m definitely drinking more and eating healthy so hope to see results on Saturday and I am enjoying being back on plan. Tonight I must make the chilli, I ended up having gammon steak two nights on the trot as late back in from walks, winter wonderland here today so the walk wont be as long tonight – so more time to prep.  Todays lunch is the last of the chicken chasseur which I have enjoyed so may make that again in a couple of weeks’ time. Soup next week I think to use up the last of the big bag of carrots I have. I literally just use the app to track syns, scan foods and look at recipes, im not logging what I eat on there now as I am used to the SDW way of doing things. Its more for reference. Do you all still keep a food diary?

snack - cheese (a) and crackers 4 syns

@sarymclary I hope your flu jab goes well, my parents have both had it now, dad just gets a slight cold symptoms for a few days after  watery eyes and runny nose, mum was fine just a sore arm. Dad has also had the covid vaccine now a sore arm and a day of slight head cold and he's fine :)

I have to confess to having a bit of a wobble last night, a friend was complaining about all the extra work she has to do with the schools closing, and it sent me down the at least your working and know where your money is going to come from rabbit hole >.< so I ate a graze coconut tray thing, not sure how many syns / calories as that one doesn't seem to say on it, but I'm not going to dwell on it as I can't uneat it and it was nice enough haha.

    So back on plan
    Breakfast - weetabix - 1 syn sugar
Lunch - something with a carrot and swede pack probably soup
Dinner - Last nights leftover pasta bake

    HE A - Milk & Cheese
I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.
even when it feels like your not....

It is difficult @pixtotts  - I saw someone post on instagram something along the lines of we're all weathering the same storm but we're in different ships and it's very true.  Hang on in there, this can't last forever (hopefully, I haven't jinxed us all with that!)

Soup didn't happen for lunch as I forgot I needed to make another batch so instead I had a picnic at my desk with some cheese, ham, pickled onions and beetroot.  Going to chuck the soup maker on this evening once the hotpot is in the oven and try and make a veggie soup as well as the mushroom so I don't come unstuck again for the next few days.

Trying to think (desperately) of some positives for you  sary. At least there will be fewer people coming into your office so easier to social distance. Any chance any of the admin can be done from home? 🤔

I was writing everything down until Christmas klew. I had a journal that I got in TKMaxx last year but it's run out now. I might treat myself to another or just use a notebook. Of course, I have got a record on here but I find subtracting from the syn bank on paper, as I go through the week,  works for me. Are you still trying the daily syns denise

I think we're doing marvellously well to stick at SW. Wobbles can happen at any time but more so with lockdown.  I'm pleased to be back on plan, it's something I can control and it gives a structure to work to that I like. I've always saved my syns for weekends but now, more than ever, I want something to look forward to each week.  I put  my thermal leggings on today as it's so cold but they are very 'clingy' so I definitely need to stick to plan. 😉

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried eggs, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F) with LO sausage casserole (P,S), beetroot and cornichons (S)
D- savoury mince (P,S), new potatoes (F) , carrots, cabbages, cauli, broccoli (S)
Syns- None planned unless I finish off the last three water biscuits (1.5)

I'm not quite managing the daily syns maman!  But not going over massively either - 3 over yesterday and 2 over on 1 January but also had a couple of days with lower syns but was left with 13 today.  Have already used 4 syns this afternoon as was a bit peckish after lunch, could have eaten some more of the minestrone but there was enough left for us to have for lunch tomorrow so used a few syns and had a couple of Ryvita and 12g of Light Primula.  Going to have some rum & ginger beer this evening so I'll be under syns for the week.

Can't believe how cold it's got over the last couple of days and apparently it's going to be getting colder over the next few days - we've got a severe weather warning until Friday for snow!  Not had any yet but lots of rain up until about 10.30 this morning.  Even got a bit brighter this afternoon.  Forecast looks as though it's dry but very cold until Monday and then it's getting a bit warmer and more rain!!!

Have got the Mac 'n' cheese in the oven so dinner should be ready fairly soon.

I use the planner to keep track of what I'm eating but not detailing every thing - eg for tonight it just says HM Mac n cheese.  I also like to make sure I don't have too many HEAs/HEBs - it's been known to happen if I don't write it down!  Also tracking syns makes it easy to count how many I've had over the week.  Unlike maman I don't subtract each day.  I have what I want over the weekend and then Monday morning see how many I've got left for Monday - Wednesday and divide by 3.

Have been trying to stick to 15 a day for the last few weeks as seem to have plateaued near the top end of target but would really like to lose a bit but it doesn't seem to be working!  Thinking I might just go back to my old way of doing things and it seemed to work before!

    Evening all.
Tea looks yummy as ever Bubbs.

Ive no idea how work will pan out. I’m trying hard not to make any waves , as I’m just glad to still be employed at the mo. I know I’m lucky in that regard. All I can do is make sure I follow all precautions.

Jab went well and can’t even feel where she did it. Benefits to chubby arms I guess  :D  OH has had his 2nd covid jab appt. cancelled which was due this weekend- I think that’s wise to offer it to someone else while they get first jabs done on the population and can get more stocks produced in the meantime. Nurse at our surgery said they can’t get hold of stock and she wanted to know how OH had got it so quickly as even NHS staff aren’t getting it. Very odd.

Delivery from MrT hasn’t arrived yet so I think it’s going to be beans with my spud. I didn’t have either of my snacks today as I was too busy, but I did have pudding after my soup of natural yog with mango. At least having a big workload stops me thinking about food :D

Blimming cold here in south Lincs today. No snow forecast but by golly that wind is bitter.  :# <- that’s me with chattering teeth
