No i don't have room for soup, but what if i scoop it out mash and freeze could squeeze that in, or would it go all watery do you think?
It may go watery I took advantage of Aldis 14p carrot and swede before Christmas and made loads of carrot and swede mash to freeze and I noticed that goes a little watery when defrosted. I drain of the excess water and it maintains it consistency though so you may be ok doing that

I did exactly the same with the swede and carrot jax. It does go a bit watery but if you stir it up and either reheat on the hob or I do it in the oven when it's on then it's just fine.

You could just freeze the BNS flesh as it is a or cut up in chunks bubbs, then add it to a vegetable soup next time you make some.

@bubbs it might go a bit watery once defrosted but I just usually either throw veg that doesn't defrost well into soups, you put water in those anyway so doesn't really matter then

Breakfast - HEB - Weetabix made with water milk + 1 syn sugar
Lunch - Chicken peppers, onions and tomatoes with rice
Dinner - SW meatball pasta bake, I don't know if the meatballs had been in our freezer too long or something but they seemed really tough this time :/
    Snack - 3 percys - 6syns, cinnamon oat biscuit - 5 syns,
    HEA - Milk & Cheese

I hope you know your capable, & brave, & significant.

    That's great katie. 👏👏👏
It really doesn't matter at the moment about how accurate the scales are . You'll be using them during lockdown so you'll see your losses week on week.

    Morning all.
Welcome back klew I'm just back on the wagon this week after several weeks off, so you're in good company.

katie that's a great loss!  A perfect kick-start to the new year.

Workplace-wise, I work in a solicitors office, so technically we stay open because all the courts are still running  :|  so boss seems to think that provided we don't allow clients to come into the premises, we can just carry on as normal.  Not a great start to the new year though as we are about to lose 2 admin staff, one has been there for decades with a wealth of experience, but has simply had enough, and the other is my workmate who I have a laugh with and keeps me sane :(  The loss of them is going to have a massive impact on me and the added workload/pressure I will be put under as I will be the only member of staff remaining with the knowledge to do a lot of the admin work they do, so going to have to have a think about how I manage the situation (given boss was a shouty !!!!!! last year about covid).  In the meantime I am masked up and hand sanitising until I'm sore! ;)

    Plan today:
B - porridge HEB, skinny syrup, splash of milk from HEA1 & water  (already prepped ready to take with me to work)
    snack - banana
L - HM tomato soup  (I might have a couple of ryvita if I feel really hungry at lunchtime so could allow 4 for that - not sure of their syn value?)
    snack - apple
D -  LO sausages (4) baked potato, cheese HEA2 and either beans or salad if my MrT delivery arrives on time ;)

I'm having a flu jab after lunch, but not the new covid one, just a normal one.  I'm hoping I don't have the same reaction my manager did after her's, as she was quite unwell for about 5 days.  Ordinarily I wouldn't be at all concerned, but having some covid symptoms still, I am hoping my immune system is back to normal.

Have a good day everyone! :D
