  • Morning all, bit warmer today!  Had an attack of the munchies on Saturday, which really annoyed me as there was no reason to, suspect it was comfort eating due to the cold.  However, gave myself a good talking to and was fine yesterday, did some batch cooking, including sloppy Joes which I have not had for a while, froze 3 portions and will have one tomorrow stuffed in peppers.  Would love this evening, but I have class until 7:30 so there is the danger of being hungry and eating before they would be ready, as it is, I have chicken & microwaveable veg, don't usually do that, but eliminates danger.

Was very organised for work today, overnight oats, home made soup, some chicken & salad, was really looking forward to the overnight oats, except I managed to leave them at home! Luckily, had a truck load of fruit, so had to have that instead, hopefully I will get through the day safely.

Not sure what the latest rules for lockdown will be, but they need to be categoric with no grey area. I understand the need for business's to work, but the inconsistency in the rules is doing nothing to stop the spread, Boris seems to be trying to keep everyone happy rather than being a leader. A good leader knows that people will be upset, but still does the correct thing for the good of all.
A smile costs little but creates much :)

Afternoon all.  Pleased to report a 1.5lb loss this week but might have just sabotaged that with eating a whole bunch of chocolate biscuits.  Didn't sleep very well last night, probably had about 2 hours max and then been told today that I have to go on site on Wednesday for some refresher training as I'm being redeployed to support our critical care wards this week 😨😷  Not going to shy away from saying that it's causing me anxiety today on top of the lack of sleep but going to just get on with it as I have colleagues who have been working there throughout this and want to help any way I can.  Now you can see why I was eating chocolate!

Had a wholemeal pitta stuffed with cheese and beans for breakfast today, mushroom soup for lunch and then we're having sausages (BGTY ones) with mash and broccoli for dinner tonight.

Hope everyone else is having a good day.

Ruby I admire you and the rest of the frontline workers. 👏👏 I’ve got to admit I don’t envy you the job. The sooner people begin to follow the lockdown and the vaccine is rolled out - the better. Think you’re allowed choccy biscuits. Well done on the loss

Oh Wow! Great losses pixtotts, klew and ruby! I'm really pleased for you, it's so motivating. Just want we need to start the week.  😁

I completely agree with you about the need for clarity gtq. My DD1 is a teacher and the rules for 'closing' schools are so loose this time round that almost anyone could claim a place. 3 positive cases at DD's school this morning - an adult, a 10  year old and a 6 year old!  I can see why you'd be scared to go on site ruby. I went to B&Q this morning (3 miles away). I was undecided whether  should but reasoned that if I wasn't supposed to go there then why are they open?? 🤔

It's much milder here too, EIGHT degrees!  Tropical! 😊 I still have a couple of satsumas to finish. I don't really like fruit that much bubbs. It's partly laziness when it comes to peeling but I rarely snack or have puddings so no place for it on my menu. DH eats loads though, piled on his muesli. Almost all my Speed food is veg.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk
    L- cold pork (P). 2 potatoes (F) fried veg and beetroot (S)
D- baked cod (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, garlic mushrooms with HEA2, broccoli, mange tout, tomato (S)

    Syns- 0

Hi everyone, sorry I haven't been on here for a while, been busy at work. I've lost a pound which is amazing as I've eaten a fair bit of rubbish this last week. Bubbs your pie looks nice!
