    Hi everyone,

Well done klew on STS and ruby on the mahoosive loss - weljel here :)

I'm not 100% on plan but I'm trying. A week today we will be en route to John O'Groats so every conversation/meet up I'm having atm is saying goodbye to folk (work and home). It feels a little surreal after talking and planning the trip for 2 years (were meant to go last year but, you know, Covid?). All a bit stressful but also very exciting :)

We went to ILs yesterday - lunch was baked ham, salad, leek tart, coleslaw. Didn't have any dinner last night as not needed. I bought some amazing nectarines, strawberries and cherries from the F&V stall on Saturday - so tasty and so much better than SMs. Also bought kiwis in Aldi.

Breakfast was shreddies, skimmed milk and a banana. Lunch was a meagre single slice of ham as DD and DS2 had snaffled the remainder for their packed lunches! Had mine with salad leaves, tomatoes and pickles - yum. Fruit intake has also included a nectarine and a kiwi fruit.
Tonight we are having prawn and chilli spaghetti - quick easy and tasty.

Extremely jealous of the company shop maman (and bubbs obvs). Nothing like that here in SE London/Kent. I feel your pain denise!

    Have a good evening everyone,
    Coxy

That's a great idea for the 'pastie' bubbs. You could try other fillings too. Would make good picnic food. 🤔

    Morning all,

Jealous of ruby, I could do with a week like that!

Dad is home, tired, a bit pale but was looking forward to a nice shower and his favourite swankeys battered haddock, mushy peas, broccoli cheese and jersey royals for his tea! I visited for an hour so tea became, tinned stewed steak, mash and boiled carrots, a bowl of comfort food!

Since my second jab I have been feeling knackered! Im sure its that, low motivation too. I dragged myself off to bed earlier than normal and I did sleep so I must need it. Managed to give the kitchen a once over this morning and bleach the cloths, usually something I would do on a night time but not last night!

B – fruit and fibre ss milk

L – crustless quiche, spinach, orange pepper, celery, cucumber, spring onion, cocktail onions – might have some LF ceasar on there today.

    D – hopefully Dijon pork!

Well the forecast has changed again and it's raining!  The forecast is rain until lunchtime so will definitely be leaving the washing for another day!

klew good to hear your dad is home and wanting to eat his favourite tea!  Hope you're feeling better this morning after a good night's sleep.  I was like that after my first jab but was fine after the 2nd.  I had the Oxford one but suspect you had the Pfizer as I'd heard that a lot of people had  problems with the 2nd jab and not the 1st.  Even though you were tired you still managed to stick to plan, well done!

DH is off to golf again today so have the morning to myself but have my hairdresser coming in about an hour.  Going to have my hair cut short again.  Having it a bit longer I found a real pain while we were away as it takes so long to dry which isn't really convenient when we're in the van.

I'm still sticking to plan properly - only gone over on one day and that was just by 0.5!  Shouldn't have had the jelly that day but have been under every other day; only had 7 syns yesterday.

    Today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - HEB; P; S
    L - stuffed peppers - HEA2; S; F
    D - mini pork loaf; new potatoes; green veg - P; S; F

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  Don't worry klew, I only had a big loss because I maintained for the last couple of weeks.  Glad to hear your dad is home and sounds like his appetite hasn't been affected too much by a stay in hospital!

Managed to squeeze in a workout last night and my legs are definitely feeling stiff today - DH want's to go for a long walk after work this evening so that should loosen them up a bit after a day of endless video calls.  Breakfast was 2 boiled eggs with smoked salmon, slice of toast and some strawberries, lunch is another chicken salad and dinner is leftover kimchi stew with rice.

Right off to work, hope you all have a good day!

    Hi everyone,

Glad your Dad is home klew and hope you're soon feeling back to normal. My Dad is in hospital for a couple of days, routine op. He's 81 and lives in Cyprus, haven't seen him for nearly 2 years due to Covid. It's such a worry but I've just heard all went well and he'll be home on Thursday so I can speak to him then.

Cold and the odd shower here. I did an early 5k at 6.20am so missed the rain but it was a bit breezy - 31:03 today whoop!

I'm on day 2 of a 3 day handover to a temp who will cover me over the summer. It's proving challenging as we're both working virtually and the IT systems are a bit temperamental. She seems very competent so I just hope it all works out and she doesn't run for the hills!

Had the prawn and chilli spaghetti last night - soooo good.

    Food today:
    B - brioche - 9 syns
L - salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles, tuna, light mayo - 2 syns
D - SW sticky pork stir fry, will add pak choi and serve with noodles
Snacks - kiwi x 2, banana, benefit bar (HEB)
    HEA - skimmed milk
    Total syns planned 11

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

It's good to have an evening walk ruby, hope your legs can manage it.   Your breakfast sounds lush. 😋

Glad to hear your dad's home klew. There's nothing like your own home.

It's dry and bright here denise with only the tiniest  chance of rain. I hope you'll be pleased with your hair when it's done. I've left mine a bit longer since lockdown but it is high maintenance! That's me!!🤣

I got an email saying I'd been accepted for the Company Shop membership this morning bubbs. That's very efficient. The new shop isn't opening until August though but, when it does, all I have to do is take in ID.

I made the beef stew last night, one for lunch and 2 portions in the freezer.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S)
    L- beef stew (P,S,F)
D- veggie chilli (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
    Syns- 0
