Hope the scan is OK klew and your dad can come home, particularly as the logistics of actually visiting is so difficult.

Have decided to add some boiled potatoes to our salad at lunchtime as need something hot as well as cold!  Thought about changing it to corned beef, chips and beans but planning on chips tomorrow I think.

Good news about WI being delayed denise. I know it was early but that consultant does sound on the ball.

I do hope your dad gets home soon klew. I'm sure everyone will feel better about that, including him! 😊

Poor bubbs having her weekend break just after all the good weather is ended. I'm sure the fish and chips will still taste excellent though!.

    Will post menu later.😊

Certainly does seem to be.  Hope she's nice when I actually get to meet her next week.  She certainly sounds nice (she always speaks on WhatsApp - I assume it's quicker than typing!).

Such a shame for her after all the brilliant weather we've had over the last couple of weeks.

    Will post menu later.😊

Morning all.  It's a bit grey this morning but at least it's dry!  It's not forecast to rain until about 3pm so I'm going to do one load of bedding and get it out on the line to hopefully dry!  If it doesn't dry I'll finish it off in the dryer but hopefully won't need to.  Once it's dried it will be put away as it is one of our winter quilt covers and pillow cases.

DH is off to play golf later this morning so I'll have a bit of time to myself for a few hours.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes, beans - P; S; F
L - haslet salad - S; F; 6.5 (needs using as bought it when on holiday and get round to eating it!)
    D - sloppy joes in WM roll, SW chips, salad - P; S; F; HEA2; HEB

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB - WM roll
Syns - Haslet 6.5; couple of rum & ginger beer 5

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi everyone,
I've been absent again, sorry. Totally not on plan this week and eating everything and anything. Daren't weight in as know it will be bad.
Today I have been for a 5k run (31:18) and have had a good breakfast of poached eggs, grilled bacon, mushrooms and tomatoes. Back on track, fingers-crossed.
I need to pop out with DS2 as he needs a haircut and to get a card and gift for DH for tomorrow. I need wrapping paper for FILs gift and some moisturiser. DH and I need to food shop later - I usually go alone (have always done so) but DH will have to do this whilst I'm away. He is already bored of trying to think of a weeks' worth of meals - welcome to my world!

    klew
    - hope your Dad is okay xx

    Food today:
B - grilled bacon, poached eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes
    L - cheese on WM toast - HEXA/HEXB
D - to be decided on - possibly prawn and chilli spaghetti - depends who is here for dinner!
Snacks - fruit (will buys whilst out today) of the speed variety!
    Syns - Benefit bar - 3

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Well done coxy  for 'training' your DH to do the food shopping! 😁 I'm another that shops alone as I much prefer it that way.  At the very start of lockdown DH decided he'd come with me. I think he felt guilty that I was going out and potentially at risk from the virus while he stayed safely at home. Fortunately there was a one person/one trolley sign up so he had to stay in the car and I could go back to my usual habits. 😊 I think if I was away my DH would eat a lot of ready meals. He can cook but he's better at breakfasts than other meals. Glad to hear you're back on plan. was it stress related eating? 🤔

It's grey and dull here too denise  but we haven't had any rain, yet. I've done a bit of batch cooking today. I did a big pot of carrot & swede mash and I have a veggie chilli in the SC. I redid my freezer inventory too as it gets messy when I cross things off as I use them. It was fairly accurate though but now it's pristine too.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S)
    L- veggie omelette (P,S), beetroot (S)
D- sweet and sour chicken (P,S) with brown rice (F)
Syns- Uncle Ben's sauce 1.5, weekend wine

Welcome home bubbs.  Sorry you had such carp weather after the brilliant weather we've had for the past couple of weeks.

    Enjoy your picky tea!😀

We haven't actually had any rain either today maman although it felt quite damp this afternoon.  Managed to get the bedding almost dry and just finished it off in the dryer for about 15 minutes.  Now all folded and put away.
