Really??? At least you tried cutting back on the pepsi so it's not that.

I often have 30 syns for 3 days in a row at weekends and manage to STS. It seems so unfair that you've gained. 🤞for Saturday.

Hope you managed to manage the logistics for the hospital visit klew. It's good that visitors are allowed now though. 😊

    Morning all,

Well what actually happened was my mum rang up to see what kind of times we could get and they said they had stopped visitors again, if we were dropping stuff off we would only be allowed into the reception area. However they have decided to move my dad back to the hospital he had the operation done in so not sure what the visiting if any will be there. However still an hour away ao will find out more later on. Training this morning may need some matchsticks for the eyes.

Dinner last night turned into a pot noodle as I knew I would be late back as popped to see mum. Starving this morning !

B – fruit and fibre ss milk – and a boiled egg!

L – flatbread mixed leaves chicken salad

D – different LF sausages baked potato not sure what else yet

I only drink NAS diluty, or NAS flavoured water. I have never been a fan of fizzy drinks, I do drink them on occasion but rare. Haven’t had an energy drink since 2017 (Lucozade – hospital) and before that would have been a couple of years. Hate tea or coffee – im dead boring really!

    Hi all,

Just playing catch up as went into the office yesterday - first time since September. Boss bought us lunch in Pret so I had an egg sandwich for a gazzillion syns. Dinner was spag bol, so redeemed myself somewhat.

klew - sorry your Dad is back in hospital. The visiting logistics sound challenging, hope you can work something out x
bubbs - your liquid intake puts me to shame - I only have 2-3 cups tea/coffee a day plus a glass of squash with lunch and dinner. I really need to address this...

No running this morning as just too hot. Will try tomorrow but current forecast is for rain, thunder and lightning in the morning! Need to pop to the bank at lunchtime to pay in proceeds of cake sale as donation has already gone across to the fundraising page eek! Will top up the fruit bowl from he F&V man whilst I'm out.

    Food today:
    B - pain au chocolat - 9 syns
L - LO bbq pork steak, salad leaves, tomatoes
D - chicken kale and potato bake
Snacks - benefit bar (HEB), apple
    HEA - milk
    Total syns planned - 9

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning all.  I was struggling to drink water at home because I was used to having ice cold water at work and thought that 2 litres a day was fine.  Turns out that apparently you should be drinking 1 litre for every 25kg you weigh and then another 1litre for every hour that you workout (according to a few PT friends of mine).  Since going up to 3-4 litres of water a day, I feel thirsty if I don't hit that amount!  I also have a coffee each morning, a herbal tea in the afternoon and then a peppermint tea after dinner.  Is quite a lot now I write it out but works for me.  Definitely get less headaches compared to when I was living off black coffee for a while 😆

Haven't had much sleep as DH came back from playing cricket yesterday with heat stroke 🙄  Happens every year because he doesn't want to tell his mates that he needs to rest, spend time in the shade, drink A LOT of water and just take it easy from time to time because of his epilepsy.  He was even throwing up at midnight and I was so worried that he was going to have a seizure but thankfully he didn't.  He's perfectly fine this morning while I'm trying to keep my eyes open with matchsticks - we're a right pair at the moment 😂

Went for another walk this morning to test the leg and it's definitely better.  Will probably go back to running and working out properly next week all being well.  Had yogurt with raspberries and half a banana this morning, lunch will be a chicken salad and then dinner is carbonara.

Hope everyone is having a good day and staying hydrated in the heat!

Sorry bubbs. I meant gain through lockdown not this week.  It seems that Cristiano was following our conversation! 🤣

They must be changing the visiting hours across the country  as the new variant spreads klew. Locally for us you have to book a visiting slot and have a PCR test as you arrive. Hope your dad gets home soon.

I usually have tuna nicoise in Pret coxy. If I'm sparing with the dressing it's very low syn. Hope you enjoyed it all the same.

I did switch the meal plan around so having chicken casserole  today and we had Bolognese from the freezer yesterday. I'll get it ready so we can eat straight after the football as I'm out dancing later.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- sardines (P) and salad (S)
    D- chicken casserole (P,S,F) with greens (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1

Evening all, we decided to come home today as the forecast was so bad with thunder, lightening and heavy rain forecast - not good when you're in a 4.5 tonne vehicle on a grass pitch!  Decided to cut our losses and come home so back on plan from today!

DH is going to stick to it as well (he says!) but starting tomorrow!  He's actually within syns today as long as he doesn't have any more!

    So far today I've had:

    B - nothing
L - 50g corned beef; fried up LO potatoes; baked beans F; 1.5
    D - spag bol - P; S; F; part HEA2

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - bit of parmasan
HEB - none but may have a couple of Ryvita later

Syns:  corned beef 1.5; half can of cider 5

Have come back with loads of washing to do as only did a small load at the launderette earlier this week.  Have washed, cried and folded 3 loads; 4th load on the line and should be dry soon and 5th load in the machine.  There are probably another 3 or 4 loads to do - and that's before I start on the bedding!  By the time I get all that lot done it'll be time to do the bedding from home (just glad I did our bedding before we went away!).

I jumped on the scales when I got home and am pleased that I am at top end of target and not out so by the time I need to weigh officially again next week I'm hoping my gain will only be a half or even STS!
