The hairdresser persuaded me not to cut it as short as I'd planned so it is definitely shorter but still a bit longer at the back and a bit wispy so hopefully it'll be as easy to manage when we're away in the van and also dry quicker which was the problem this time around.  Only 2 weeks until we go away again so I'll be able to test it out then!  If it doesn't work then it'll all come off next time which will be in August!

Good news about being accepted for the Company shop maman and as you say very efficient.  It's not too long to wait for it to open and pick up those bargains!  Lucky you.

I've got a goat curry cooking at the moment and have also put some of the goat back in the fridge and I'm going to marinade that overnight to make a jerk goat stew - never done it with goat before but decided it's worth a go as it's really nice made with beef (I used ox cheeks the couple of times I've made it before) so that will need to be cooked tomorrow so a few meals for the freezer.

Have had to change my meal plan for this week after DH noticing that we were due to have rice 6 times this week!  Just need to find some other meals in the freezer for a couple of days which we can have with mash, new potatoes or pasta!

    Morning all,

My mother was sent to town to go to the butchers for some beef olives for my dads tea yesterday!

He sounded a lot better on the phone.

I think im going to visit tonight if not it will be tomorrow night.

B – fruit and fibre ss milk

L – either crustless quiche and beans or LO stewing steak and mash from the other night

D – LO Dijon pork. This was really nice but I found the sauce quite rich. Again id probably modify it a bit to suit me and add a few more vegetables, possibly peppers to the mix.
