Morning all.  klew it definitely sounds as though your dad is better and definitely hasn't lost his appetite.  Not had beef olives for years - not sure I've ever made them.  My butchers doesn't sell them unfortunately.  There's another butchers, in the opposite direction of course, that sells pheasant olives but wasn't keen on them.  The last time I remember having beef olives was when we visited friends in Germany many years ago!

The weather is completely the opposite to yesterday!  The sun is shining so have put the bedding in the machine.

Need to go shopping again today as for some reason we've used up all the mushrooms and peppers, so I'll do the shop I was planning on doing tomorrow which hopefully will last us until early next week.

    Today's plan:

B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S (spinach is from garden)
    L - LO mini pork meatloaves; chips; beans - P; S; F
D - braised lamb shank in red wine and rosemary and veg; mash; Brussels, peas (veg requested by DH!) - P; S; F; 3

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - red wine 3

    Have a good day everyone.

    Food today will be:
B - shreddies and skimmed milk, kiwi fruit - HEB/HEA1
L - grilled bacon, poached eggs, pineapple, banana
D - chicken curry with rice*
    HEA2 - mini babybel light

*we are using a jar of sauce from Aldi - please would someone kindly check the syn value of Specially Selected Balti Cooking Sauce 360g - TIA xx

Coxy - sharp intake of breath!  It's 15.5 for the jar.  Assuming it makes 4 portions then that would be 4 each.  Or if you're greedy like DH and I are then cooking sauces we have half each so that would be 8 syns each!

Afternoon all!  Busy day today with lots of mentoring calls with various people in my department.  Really takes it out of me but hey at least everyone else is happy now!

Went for a run this morning and managed a PB for 5k so pleased with that.  Breakfast was yogurt, strawberries and granola, lunch was a prawn salad and then dinner is going to be a gammon steak with chips and beans because DH is in the office till late today and I wanted a low fuss dinner for myself.

Hope you're all having a good day!

Thanks bubbs. I don't have a George Foreman or other gadget so it's good to know that I can do the fatties in the oven.

All a bit pear shaped here. We went out for a country walk with a group of friends and ended up in the pub ! So I am having wine syns on a Wednesday! It could have been a lot worse as some decided to eat as well.

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- beef stew (P, F, S)
D- sausages, mash, LO gravy (F), veg (S)
    Syns - BGTY sausages 2, Wednesday wine😉
