It's a glorious day here so hope everyone is out enjoying the sunshine! 😊

I thoroughly enjoyed my Indian meal last night. I did have 1 poppadum and a bit of bread  but everything else was SW friendly except any oil used in cooking. We went for the tapas style so lots of small dishes to taste. Anyway, line drawn and back on plan for the rest of the week.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk, raspberries (S)
L- veggie (tomato, spring onion and mushroom) omelette (P,S), ham (P), pickles (S)
    D- Mushroom Stroganoff (S, HEA2), brown rice (F)
    Syns- weekend wine😋

Did have a drama though,  just doing the last bit and DH got dive bombed by wasps😩looked up and they had made a nest in it, so I said we need to block the hole , this is what it looked like, I had the right giggles. Bird box now gone!!

    Lunch

Left over KFC from last night (not often that happens 🤣) stuffed in a soft pitta , tbsp BBQ sauce 😋

Maman glad you had a nice meal 😋😋

    Morning all

Was cold first thing, but sun is out now 🌞🌞
I had already planned a big chicken salad for today as knew it was going to be hot, but i am NOT happy, Calor have yet again not filled our tank up, we only have 4% gas 😫 i rang them Thursday they were coming Friday, never turned up, so rang them yesterday they said driver rang in sick! My problem? NO, i said will if i run out i will NOT be happy, so good job we are not having a full on roast, but i still need to cook the chicken, might do it in pressure cooker, they are juicy like this but very pale and only take about 20 mins,
Scotch eggs i can do in acti.

Have a good day all 😁 enjoy the weather now it's here

That's poor customer service from Calor bubbs. At least you have the option of other ways of cooking although not everyone will.

We're having a roast today, regardless of weather! We don't eat until about 7p.m.  so we'll be ready for it by then. I double checked and it's definitely pork. I thought it was last week but defrosted lamb shanks by mistake.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (S,F) and beetroot (S)
D- roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
Syns- HM gravy 4, weekend wine

Evening all,  We've had some brilliant weather so far and looks like it's going to carry on for a while yet!

We moved on from our first site earlier on today.  Got here about 1.30pm so had some lunch as soon as we'd set up.  We had burgers & onions in WM roll.  Dinner tonight was a goat curry from home with some LO rice from the other night.

Food has been SW friendly in the main although there are also been plenty of syns consumed the first couple of days!  Didn't drink at all yesterday and have only had a couple of rum & ginger beers today.

Went on the National Trust site today to try and book something some mid week but nothing available until next weekend!  Anyway I've booked us to go to Tattershall Castle next Sunday afternoon.  It was the only day available with 2 tickets while we are at our current site.  It will take about 20 minutes on the scooter so not too far at all.  I'm going to check on Friday to see if we can book something near our next site for the following week.  We're here until next Monday and then moving on.

maman glad you had a nice Indian meal the other day.  I'm sure it was nice having lots of little dishes to try - I really like tapas style meals.

bubbs hope you get your gas soon.  That is absolutely terrible customer service.  They should have got a temp driver in if their regular driver phoned in sick.
