Klew will be drooling over the crustless quiche. 😋
Great news about the gas. Showers not rationed! 😁
I like tinned sardines but I've never fancied them in tomato sauce. I think they're the same fish as pilchards and sprats. 🤔

ETA - I checked and they are all a sort of herring. It depends on the size and branding. Pilchards have been rebranded as Cornish Sardines and now sell like hot... fish. 😁

    Morning all,
Another beauty of a day here hurrah! Did 5k run this morning but at 4.5k suddenly felt the urge to walk a few paces (like 20!) as just too flaming hot. Time was 30:45 today so well pleased with that. I may even smash 30 minutes one day lol.
ruby - that's great that you've sorted a route for your 5k. Mine is kind of circular - we live on a hill so no way am I running the last 0.5k uphill. I just keep going and walk back after the run which cools me down.
bubbs - hurrah for the gas arriving. Lovely food and now thinking I really should buy sardines/pilchards when I next go shopping....
Had the steak last night but no sw chips as had no normal potatoes in. I only really buy them when I'm doing a roast and we won't be having one this week. Instead I had three chunky oven chips.....

    Food today:
B - poached egg, grilled bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes, spinach
L - roasted peppers stuffed with golden savoury rice
    D - spaghetti bolognaise
    HEXA1 - skimmed milk
    HEXA2 - parmesan
    HEXB - benefit bar
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.
    Coxy

Morning all!  Woohoo for the gas bubbs - the quiche looks good (as does all of your food!).  Hope your legs are feeling better today klew, good idea to take a dinner with you and hope your dad's op goes well.  I'm also feeling a bit bloated and fatter this week - no idea why as star week is now over, maybe it's just the weather.

Determined to get back to proper workouts today - have an upper body one all lined up ready for after work.  Had the usual breakfast today and have more leftover dhaal with broccoli for lunch.  Dinner tonight is another "fry" up - Linda M's sausages, mushrooms, poached egg and some homemade has browns.  Already looking forward to it 😋

Hope everyone has a good day, looks like another scorcher here so I might end up working from the garden again this afternoon.

Hope your dad's OK. 😊Well done on taking your own meal klew. Which sausages did you have that weren't great? I'm happy with the Aldi ones (0.5 syns) but the skins can be a bit tough. Sainsburys BGTY are good too (1 syn).

I looked up a chicken and mushroom pot noodle and it's 11 syns. Quite low calories (about 160) but I'd sooner have flavoured noodles or savoury rice which are syn free or very low. I tend to make my own from plain noodles, veg and 1 syn of sweet chilli sauce. It's very confusing to me but if it's working for you then I'm not knocking it. 😁

Strange day here. It's hot and humid and the sun keeps going in and out. 🌞I went out for coffee this morning but stuck to Americano so counting it in with HEA.

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit, baked beans (F), bacon, fried egg (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L- ham (P). bubble and squeak (F, S), beetroot and cornichons (S)
    D- Spaghetti Bolognese (P, F, S), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns - 0
