Evening all, it's been lovely today - a bit overcast but still very warm. Much nicer to actually sit out in.
Coxy well done on your running time, that's a great time.
klew hope your dad's op goes well and well done on taking your plated dinner with you to your mum's.
bubbs glad you've finally got your gas and now you can get back to normal with your showers and your cooking!
Have actually have a completely on plan day today, including a few rum & ginger beers!
Need to go shopping again tomorrow to get some meat for dinners. I've got plenty of potatoes & veg but only sausages left which I bought with me so that'll be dinner tomorrow night! Not sure what meat so we'll have a look when we get to the SM.
Think that's me all caught up!

Morning all! Glad to hear you're having a good trip denise. Food looks good as always bubbs 😋
Went for a run this morning but the knees started feeling a bit sore after 3.5km so I just walked the rest of the route. Think I need to get some new running shoes as these ones I've had for almost 6 years and they've taken a fair beating! Had my usual yogurt, berries and granola for breakfast and the last of the dhaal for lunch with some more broccoli. Dinner tonight is going to be homemade pizza - I bought DH a BBQ pizza oven thing for his birthday and he wants to give it a go so not counting the base that he's making but I'll be topping mine with lots of veggies because that's what I fancy.

Dads operation went well, he should be home in a couple of days, waiting to get a bit more information about that. Im finishing at 4 as have the dentist tonight so will pop in again to see mum while I am there, nothing plated up as intend to eat at home but yet have nothing planned. Eek. I can see me going down the baked potato route

The shopping this week will be a large one but that’s because bare essentials where picked up last weekend. The quiche is top priority!

@maman
The C&M pot noodle took me over syns and is quick and easy, fills a hole when i am in a hurry.... but i only ate 1250 calories yesterday plus a 2.5-3 mile walk with the dog, brisk up the hills. Being in a calorie deficit is proving to be the best way to drop pounds which is my aim, I'm slowly moving away from SW but still using their recipes, and the idea of filling your plate with speed. The reason I’m moving away is so I’m not a paying customer, and so i am following something that works with my lifestyle. SW kicked off my weight loss journey but it is not a plan i see myself staying on.
The sausages were Morrison’s, I think they took the fat out and replaced with pepper and they are a bit dry

Good to hear from you denise. A bit dull here today but I think the good weather comes back tomorrow. 😊
A 1lb isn't a massive gain considering coxy. I think we have to be flexible, especially now when we have to grab whatever fun we can.
I think you should definitely buy yourself some new running shoes ruby. I think you deserve it after all the effort you've put in. One of my dance classes starts up again today. I don't know how I'll cope as I've been much lazier in this last lockdown so don't feel as fit.
Each to his own klew. I suppose I'm biased because SW is the only 'diet' I've ever done and it suits me well because I like large portions. Great idea to stick with the loads of Speed. One plus is that 'healthy' calories seem to give you more volume than things like sweets and crisps.
I'm looking forward to KFC tonight for the first time in a few weeks as I've been out the past two Fridays. Out again tomorrow but today I'm on plan.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), bacon, fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- JP (F), cottage cheese (P), spring onions and beetroot (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), creamy cabbage with HEA2, tomatoes, asparagus, mushrooms (S)
Syns- weekend wine😁1 -
I thoroughly enjoyed dancing today. I was a bit achey at times but better than expected. 😊
I called into Morrison's as I was nearby. I got a monster size BNS for 50p while I was there.
Just about to start cooking and I'm starving because of an early lunch.1 -
I posted here, don't know where it's gone 😫
Evening all
Denise glad you having a lovely break 😁
Maman, was that on offer or rtc? Glad you enjoyed dancing
I went to my favourite shop today with my friend, we did have a laugh at my expense!
Was in farm foods and was scanning some things on SW app, then in a right panic i said "I have lost my glasses, Oh i must have left them in the car" She is standing there looking at me, then i go OH no i am wearing them 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Well we were rolling, we were at the top of the store and SA was looking at us and she was on the till and every time we looked at each other we cracked up , was so funny. She said it was my face i looked really worried that i had lost them 😂😂😂 best bit is they are on a chain round my neck as i did lose them in Tesco and some lady come running after me as they had fell out my pocket and i didn't know.
Only just had tea 🙄
