Yes I knew the syns @maman but on a Tuesday when I tend to have it – I don’t really consume any other syns plus its heavy on body magic that days so it’s all good

Last day at work today before a nice long weekend.

Another gentle walk tonight then tomorrow I’m going to try and get a long walk in as I am meeting friends to watch the sun set with some sort of takeaway I would imagine chips, but im going to enjoy myself this weekend and have a couple of drinks with friends on Saturday too

B – fruit and fibre ss milk

L – chicken and sweetcorn soup and LO PON Loaf – OR pot noodle

D – LO smoky beef chilli and baked potato and some grated cheese

I don't blame you having some fun at the weekend klew. What a lovely idea to watch the sunset. I don't know if a consultant would necessarily agree but I have to make SW work around my lifestyle rather than the other way round. It's a gloriously sunny day here and hot with it. I think tomorrow's dull but dry and then next week looks great. I think we all need it after this latest lockdown which was the worst one IMO. I'm so pleased for people in the hospitality/tourist industries. maybe they'll manage to claw back just a bit of their lost earnings.

Try to think of the painting as good Body Magic coxy. All that bending and stretching must help a bit to keep you fit!

You certainly knew which week to pick denise. You've done well to get sites booked with the Bank Holiday and  Half Term.  Enjoy yourself and don't worry about SW. You can sort it out when you get back. I know you won't go mad as you enjoy healthy food. At least you won't have French bread to tempt you.

It's brilliant that we can enjoy a fry up on SW. I'm sure yours will go down well ruby. I love looking at bubbs' meals. They always look so appetising. 😋

I've got an eye appointment tomorrow  so decided to do my food shop today instead. It was much quieter so may think of it another time. I used up bits of veg from last night's dinner and out of the fridge to make a hash for lunch before I bought fresh stuff. We're having lamb chops tonight and I'm counting 4 for HM gravy as I won't be cutting off all the fat because I enjoy it! 😉😋

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried eggs, bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
    L- ham (P),  veg hash (F,S)
D- lamb chops (P), mash (F), cauli, broccoli, cabbages, carrots (S)
    Syns- HM gravy 4?

Thanks everyone.  It's great to be away again.  When I booked the sites I hadn't even realised it was going to be a bank holiday and half term until one of the people I spoke to said it was the bank holiday weekend.  That's the problem with retirement - every day is a holiday!!!

We got to the first site around lunchtime and there is a cafe on site so we thought we'd go and have a coffee and ended up ordering lunch too!  There wasn't a huge choice so I picked a falafel salad which was very nice although the falafel were a bit dry (and a bit synful!).  As maman said I'll sort it out when we get home!

We're here until Sunday morning and then moving on to Lincoln which is about 2.5 hours drive so we'll aim to leave around 10 to arrive there lunchtime again.  DH will be doing a bit of fishing as there are a couple of lakes there, so plenty of time for me to do some reading and crafting.
