Denise, that exactly is it! it does not hurt as a rule, but when you catch it like i did end of last week that's when it hurt and was VERY sore, i have had it for months but it is growing, i have book marked that, thanks!
I am very prone to having extra bits growing 🙄 had polyps removed 5 times 😫
I even went to 3 different pharmacies and they all said different with the last one saying i needed to see a doctor which is why i rang last week .
Maman i have not tried the minute steak, but was thinking of frying quick, adding onions and salad in a nice roll 😋😋Sealed pot challenge number 003 £350 for 2015, 2016 £400 Actual£345, £400 for 2017 Actual £500:T:T £770 for 2018 £1295 for 2019:j:j spc number 22 £1,457Stopped Smoking 22/01/15:D:D::dance::dance:- 5 st 1 1/2lb :dance::dance:0 -
Amazing what google brings up! When I saw it my first thought was actually a ganglion as it looked very like something I had on my arm years ago but thought I'd just do a google search for hard lump and it brought up that page.
I've had minute steak maman and it does cook very quickly but think it would be impossible to cook rare if that's how you like it! As bubbs said it's probably best in a roll or sandwich. I wouldn't bother with it again as I like a rare steak.

Morning all! Sorry you've had problems with the Dr's bubbs, was going to say it looked like a cyst so hopefully they can sort it soon. We're on the border with an area that has a high number of the Indian variant so have been told that we'll have to go for surge testing this week 🙄
Weather was atrocious yesterday, think the best part of the day was when I went out for my run first thing! We had torrential rain, hailstones and a thunder storm throughout the day. Still a bit cloudy today but hopefully the rain stays away - I want to go for a walk later on! Feeling a lot better today which is good as I have to do three presentations so need to be on my a-game 🙃 Usual breakfast of FF yogurt with berries and granola, then having mexican quinoa (basically quinoa, tin of chopped tomatoes, tin of sweetcorn and a tin of black beans mixed together with some cumin, paprika and chill powder and vegetable stock all cooked together in one pot) with a tuna steak for lunch, followed by carbonara for dinner with added mushrooms 😋

Morning all, weather very cloudy this morning but decided to wash the bedding anyway today rather than tomorrow. There are some showers forecast but hopefully won't be for a couple of hours and I can get the worst of the water out and then finish off in the dryer!
ruby - sorry you're near the border of one of the areas with high figures and that you'll need to go for surge testing but better to be safe than sorry. Have you had your jabs yet?
Need to do a bit of shopping this morning but not much just a few bits to take away with us as we're not sure how close any shops are to our first site so taking enough food for the first few days.
Today's plan:
B - beans on 1 slice of toast; marmite on the other - HEB; 4.5
L - LO stuffed pork; chips; pickles - P; S; F
D - cottage pie; green veg - P; S; F
HEA - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - extra bread 4; low fat spread 0.5
Have a good day everyone.0 -
Morning all (just),
Flipping cold here - did check with DH that he too is feeling it, as could be a reaction to 2nd jab yesterday. I really felt the jab and arm is sore, also very tired today. Intermittent rain here and set to last for the day I think.
bubbs - that looks really sore. Hope you can get some answers soon.
ruby - urggh to the testing, but better to know you're okay.
My DMum has symptoms - came on yesterday - she is anti-vax and a conspiracy theorist so has refused the jab - she's 78. I am just waiting to see if she gets any worse. Probably won't stop her going to knit and natter tomorrow morning in Morries cafe in S/bourne - denise - stay well clear!
We are going to DS1s house tonight to undercoat the wood and do the ceilings in the main bedroom. Will be there every night this week as they hope to move in this weekend.
Food today:
B - 2 x brioche - 18 syns (!)
L - LM sausages, bacon, egg, baked beans, wm toast - HEXB
D - curry loaf, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles - family having salmon en croute.
Have a good day everyone,

Good afternoon all,
Had meetings this morning so am later on here, last 24 hours I have had serious chocolate cravings what is that about, I have had a couple of squares of fruit and nut! Celiac testing yesterday hopefully that is negative! Spinning tonight, I think the leg is sufficiently better so if I do another easy walk with the dog and don’t go too hard on the bike I should be ok, those chocolate calories need burned!
B – fruit and fibre ss milk
L – chicken and sweetcorn soup – slice of vegetable loaf
D – corned beef hash and mushy peas. – slop meal!
The PON loaf is nice, I think I could perfect it too my tastes more. It is from the latest book. It has in it off the top of my head, carrot, onion, courgette, chickpeas, Garlic, thyme, soy, cheese and breadcrumbs. I didnt cook it as long as it suggested so it was softer but i think that works nicely.

Thanks Coxy but it's OK I don't knit! so definitely wouldn't be going to knit and natter. Can you not talk your mum out of going? If she's got symptoms that's worrying that you think she will go out and not self isolate as she should.
Thanks klew. Do you just whizz everything together and bung it in a loaf tin? Does it need an egg to bind or is it wet enough from the veg? What temperature and how long? Sorry for all the questions!
Not had corned beef hash for ages but it'll definitely be on the menu while we're away! There's already a tin of corned beef in the fridge ready! Love one pot meals anytime but particularly in the van!

Mum has never followed the guidance denise - stubborn to the core. When first lockdown came in she didn't stop going out to get 'shopping' almost every day, despite me and my DSis offering to shop for her/get deliveries. No way would she self-isolate - she'd have to be bed-bound.Cross-stitch WIP: Fiver Friday challenge 2025 founding member 😊 Read 25 books in 2025 11/25 Currently reading The Cliff House by Amanda Jennings0

Glad to hear you're still getting the running in ruby. I'm sure that's as good for your mental health as resting. Perhaps both! 😊
I'm assuming the curry loaf is to have tonight around the decorating coxy. Well done for planning ahead. That's a worry about your mum but nothing much you can do about it. She's done remarkably well to avoid the virus so far. 🤞🏼
Which corned beef hash do you buy klew? It's a favourite here and I just wondered which one you have which is low calorie?
We're having a more grown up version of sausage casserole tonight. It's an adapted version of the Tana Ramsay recipe. New Beginnings and Small Things – Tana Ramsay’s Sausage Casserole with Savoy Cabbage and Butter Beans | (chilliandmint.com)
I don't have any bacon defrosted so Ill just chop up some ham. I weighed a small piece of chorizo and it's 2.5 syns (shared) which will be enough for some flavour and colour. Because it's not savoy cabbage season I'll cut some strips of sweetheart and spring greens. As we're greedy I'll do new potatoes as well. We haven't had this for ages but it makes a change from the usual 'cowboy' version with baked beans.
RToday's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- ham (P), potato (F), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- sausage casserole (P,S) with new potatoes (F)
Syns- Aldi sausages 1, chorizo 1.50
