@joedenise - i have the very latest PON book which is maybe why some of the recipes are not online yet? my plan was to have it cold a couple of times this week with my soup although i may have it hot as a main meal also.1

Morning all! Had a mental health wobble over the weekend which I think was part of what was going on with me last week. Feeling a lot better now after spending yesterday doing nothing on the sofa. Even had a 3lb loss this week when I weighed in which is great after a couple of weeks of maintaining. It is star week this week so will see what happens next Monday!
Same old breakfast this morning of ff yogurt (Skyr rather than greek yogurt this week), strawberries, blueberries and a couple of heck chicken sausages. Lunch was a couple of rice cakes with some HM hummus, cherry tomatoes and cooked chicken. Dinner tonight is some beef with pak choi (home grown!), broccoli and some rice.Emergency Fund - £8572.39 / £10,000 :: Mortgage OP 2025 - £LISA 24/25 - £3200 / £4000 :: NSD 2025 - 2 / 150 :: Books Read: 1 / 52 :: Decluttering - 4 / 1000Engaged 9th December 2010 :: Married 29th October 2015 :: Bought a House 13th January 20171 -

Great loss ruby, well done. Hope you're feeling better now, it's good to take a bit of time out and do nothing.

Well done on your losses ruby and klew. Some great exercise going on too coxy and klew.👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I'm pleased to hear that taking time out helped you ruby. 😊 Hope we all have a good week coming up.
I know I won't be within syns this week because of eating out twice but I'm sticking to plan at home. Next week is likely to be much the same as we're having Chinese on Friday. It's ages since I went to a Chinese restaurant. I seem to recall that black bean things are a reasonable choice. 🤔
Looks like the weather may be on the turn just in time for your holiday denise. 😊 It's very changeable here today, sunny one minute then pouring down.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S)
L- ham (P), 1 potato (F), LO veg and beetroot (S)
D0 baked cod (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), cauli, broccoli, mange tout, tomatoes and mushrooms
Syns- 0
Usually I just bake the fish plain in a foil parcel. Does anyone add veg to the fish like cherry tomatoes? I've seen recipes but never tried them. 🤔0 -
You're right about the weather changing later this week maman. I'm glad about that. Weather is pretty much the same here with a mix of sun and rain. Having said that I managed to get the washing dry before the heavy rain came. It's nice and sunny again at the moment.
Have to say I'm not keen on tomatoes with fish but I think things like asparagus, sugar snaps and sliced courgettes would work. You really need things that will cook quickly as the fish only needs about 15 minutes in the oven.

Afternoon all
Well done to the losers 😁
Ruby glad you are feeling a bit better today 🤗
klew, that's why i did SW so i didn't have to count calories, i would never survive 😂
To say i am cheesed off today is an understatment! i had doctors but with a nurse as that's all they would allow me to see 🙄at 11.40, they rang Friday changed too 12.30, yes that's fine, get a message this morning reminding of my appointment at 12.50!! took me 49 times to get through and i just said can you tell me the time as that's 3 different i have had!! oh yes it's now 12.50, i said good job i had nothing planned then isn't it? then she was effing useless!! she said it's arthritis , i said i am no doctor but that is NOT arthritis, so i have to have a blood test, 7th june!
Have you put anything on it? I said how can i when i don't know what it is? Ok i'll prescribe something, it will go directly too Boots go straight from here. Ok so i go, they have not got the script, come in a couple of hours, me no i will be home then, i will come tomorrow 🙄
I really don't know why they are not seeing patients, it was empty in there, they are not jabbing today either. DH has still not had his 2nd and its 12 weeks this week, so i mentioned it when there, oh we are doing pfizer this week! He is AZ, if he has not heard by Monday call 🙄 i know they have a lot to do but not very orgainised in my eyes.
Sorry moan over 😂

The veg loaf sounds good. Is that in the latest PON book. I’ve got the first 2 and don’t remember seeing it.
So far so good here again. I’ve been for a short swim but was very tired and couldn’t manage much today. I had a telephone appointment with hip consultant who was still talking hip replacements and wanting to stall it as long as possible.....I need to get rid of this stone of blubber......it’s not doing me any favours at all 😏January spends - £587.581 -
There are lots of mixed messages going on bubbs. The government likes to tell us that the NHS is getting back to normal as Covid cases are way down but that's not how it is on the ground. DH had a flare up of his eczema, he'd tried all the creams he had and it was still looking really nasty. DH cheated. The GP said send a photo but DH claimed he was a total technophobe and didn't know how to do it so he got a face to face appointment!
I think it's usual to try to put surgery off as long as possible milann but now the waiting lists are longer than ever. You are right though, losing some weight will help. 😊
I have courgettes, asparagus and mange tout denise so may concoct something. 😊1 -
