Update to say that DH actually picked out somewhere to go next week using our NT cards!  He actually picked out one of the properties I'd listed as somewhere which might be worth visiting.  This one would cost us £10 each - only need another one or two to get our money's worth!

Had to use chicken breast tonight for KFC - definitely not as good as thighs.  Have now run out of both thighs and breasts so both are on the shopping list for next week.

Good to hear from you beanie. It's strange how the vaccine affects different people. Glad to hear you're picking up. How's the eating? Any chance you lost your appetite? 🤔😉

Which vaccine did you have beanie?  The OAZ one seemed to affect people mainly on the 1st jab rather than the 2nd.  Certainly did in my case.  Definitely weird how different people have reacted with the jabs.

    I had the Oxford.
Anyway, done & dusted now :)
Worrying about the Indian strain cases though.

I had the Oxford one too.  Felt awful after the 1st one but was fine with the 2nd.  Hope you're feeling better now Beanie.

Agree about the Indian strain now though.

Really hope people in the areas where it's particularly bad can be a bit more sensible and stick to social distancing for a bit longer.  Really think those areas ought to have been put into another lockdown for a few weeks.
