Morning all! That's what I keep saying to DH, that NT membership would pay for itself after a couple of visits to the many NT places we have near by but he's not so sure 🙄 We bought an annual membership for Blenheim Palace last year (it was the same cost as a one off visit...🤷♀️) and we've been back a couple of times since so he knows it's something we could make the most of but oh well.
Feeling very tired today which isn't being helped by the rather grey weather outside. Had usual breakfast of ff greek yogurt, strawberries and granola, lunch will be lentil soup and dinner is salmon with asparagus, broccoli and cubed potatoes (you're right maman, they're a hit in this house too!)

Good morning,
klew - sounds like you had a great evening. So nice to catch up with old friends and how lovely to get some horsey cuddles
denise - well done on resisting the sandwich. Glad you had a nice day out xx
It's raining here atm and think it's set for the day. I did a 4.6k run this morning. Left home slightly later and took a different route, hence the weird distance.
Dinner last night was a big hit. Have made it before but not for a while. It was the SW sticky pork stir fry from the Take 5 book. I added pak choi to the shitake mushrooms and spring onions, so effectively Take 6 lol.
Food today:
B - cheese on WM toast - HEXB/HEXA1
L - roasted sweet mini peppers, couscous, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles - 1 syn
D - sweet chilli chicken thighs, rice, green beans - 1 syn
Snacks - pineapple, apple
HEXA2 - milk
Total syns planned - 2
Have a lovely day everyone,

Morning all, weather is horrible here this morning; it hasn't stopped raining and not looking like it's going to any time soon. DH is going to get soaked as he's playing golf - I'm waiting on a phone call to go and pick him up! It's a real PITA only having the one car now. It was OK until he started playing golf again. We sold the 2nd car to our DD2 last year as she needed a heavier car to pull her new to her caravan and we weren't really using it, but DH wasn't playing golf then!
I've been shopping so now fruit and veg has been replenished for a few days - no doubt I'll need to buy more early next week!
I weighed this morning and pleased to say that I am 0.5lb inside top end of target so with a bit of luck I'll be back to where I was last time I sent my weight to the temp consultant - only need to lose 0.5lb this week to do that!
Today's plan:
B - eggs on toast - HEB; P
L - LO frittata; salad; smoked salmon - P; S; F
D - HM faggots; mash & green veg - P; S; F; 1
HEA1 - milk
HEB - bread
Syns - Ryvita 1 (there's 3 Ryvita in 4 portions); may have a couple of rum & ginger beer this evening 5
Edited to change lunch: Forgot there was LO frittata in the fridge so had that, also a couple of small slices of smoked salmon which needed using up.1 -

I've asked DH to have a look this evening and choose somewhere to go next week! He just said "are we going to make this a weekly thing then?" 🤣. I'll sort somewhere out myself he if doesn't do it so that I can book it tomorrow morning once the dates and times are available.

It'll be interesting to know whether reopening the houses makes it more difficult to book with NT denise. I expect they still have to limit numbers because of remaining Covid regulations. Being a night owl, I found I could book tickets soon after midnight on Thursday for the following week. Something to think about if you wake up during the night! 🤣
You seem to be doing part SW and then the Gousto dinners, keeping calories down overall klew. I wonder what sort of sausages they use? Glad it's working for you😊. SW is the only 'diet' I've ever done and it works for me but I think the most important thing is to have a plan and eat healthily. Funnily enough, when my consultant asks me to tell the group what are the most important things about SW for me I always say 'Planning and Speed' so much the same really.
Always good to do a SW recipe that works and everyone enjoys coxy. Most of our favourites are adapted 'normal' recipes or things I've found online rather than the SW books/site. Maybe I should look some up. It's been quite a struggle thinking up endless meals for the last 14 months. We've eaten out a handful of times when it's been allowed and had ONE take away. That's a lot of menu planning! 😇🤣
Starting with another 105 syns in the bank today. No plans to use any though. I was angelic last week and used, on average, just over 10 syns a day. I'm going to try to do the same this week before my first WI. I think I'll text the consultant and ask when she plans to open as haven't heard anything.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), HEB toast, HEA1 milk, fried eggs (P)
L- JP (F), veggie chilli (P,S,F), cottage cheese (P), leaves, cucumber, beetroot (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), pasta (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- 01 -
I do a mix of recipes maman - some from the books/mags and some just adapted like the cottage pie on Tuesday. Tonight's sweet chilli chicken is from one of the books though. I find there are some weeks where I lack inspiration, so a flick through the books is needed. Whenever I ask DH for some ideas he says 'spaghetti bolognaise' ! Thanks love!
I don't know where your syns come from maman as you don't seem to have them on a daily basis. Do you splurge at weekends? I've been trying to keep low syns all week as usually I'm around 7-10 each day, and interested to see how others work theirs out.
I had a lovely lunch today. Roasted some mini sweet peppers and had them with cous cous, salad, tomatoes and pickles. So tasty!
Still a bit soggy here but will get the puppy out for walk after work. Weigh day tomorrow - not hopeful but every little helps!

maman - you still need to book and the website just suggests that you visit the house first and that it will be on a first come first served basis with a queue outside the house. Booking won't guarantee you'll get into the house apparently!
Good idea to text your consultant to find out what's happening. I wouldn't have known if I hadn't texted the new consultant as the temp one just said this week was her last one and gave the number of the area manager to contact if you hadn't arranged to go to another group! Really helpful, Not!

Before I could text my consultant I got a message from her! Spooky! Maybe she lurks on here! 🤣 All booked in for next Thursday morning. I'm definitely going for another lower syn week to give it my best shot at being in target range. 🤞
Was almost tempted into self sabotage. I went to M&S and they had boxes of chocolate marzipan and cherry liqueurs. They're the only two chocolates that I really like. I'm safer in Aldi where they only stock them at Christmas. I left them on the shelf. 😇
With the numbers controlled it shouldn't be too difficult to get into the NT houses. 🤔

That's definitely spooky your consultant contacting you before you could text her. I really don't think SW have handled the return to group very well. I think mine is worse because of the temp consultants situation.
