You're reining back well from the weekend coxy. Stick with it! 😊

Those roasted cubed potatoes have been a big hit here in recent weeks ruby. DH loves them. It does help to have someone appreciate my cooking. 😋

I think Friday morning is probably the perfect time for WI denise. We have a really lovely consultant locally but her groups are on a Monday, otherwise I'd transfer. I like the sound of your picnic. We've been for a long walk today and people were sitting on the riverbank having picnic lunches. I was quite envious.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), 2 fried eggs (P), mushrooms (S), HEA milk, HEB toast
L- cold meat (P), fried veg and pickles (S)
D- chicken casserole (P,F,S) with cauli and greens (S)
    Syns- cornflour 1

We were forecast rain this afternoon but we didn't get any although it came over very dark a few times.  Still not looking like it's going to rain so have been out and watered the pots.

Have finally finished sorting out the picnic for tomorrow - just need to make some sandwiches in the morning.  I've mixed up a yoghurt dressing for the potato salad and put that in a screw top jar to take with us and will add just before we eat it.

Is that baked beans in your mince bubbs?  Did you freeze your butternut squash in the end or is that it mashed on your plate tonight?

That's the good thing about weightloss milann. We all have iffy days but we can always draw a line and start again. 😊

It's been an odd day here too bubbs. We got out for a long walk this morning (8 500 steps). That was just as well because it tipped down this afternoon.  Not cold though.

Our chicken casserole was yummy. Used HM butter beans. Plenty left for tomorrow. 😋

Morning all, completely different weather here klew, we've got brilliant sunshine and a bit of wind but not a cold wind fortunately.  Got about an hour until we need to leave to visit the National Trust property we're going to.  Picnic food is ready in the fridge and just needs packing into a rucksack.  Not taking a drink so will buy something when we're there.

    Today's plan:

    B - overnight oats - HEB; S; F
L - picnic:  ham & tomato sandwich (10.5 syns); scotch egg (1 syn); minted courgette & potato frittata; potato salad (yoghurt dressing in separate pot)
    D - Chana Masala; rice - P; S; F; 0.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - oats
    Syns - bread 7; 10g butter 3.5; low fat sausage 1; demerara sugar 0.5

Have just about come in under the 105 syns for the week by 1 syn!  So hopefully WI will be no worse than STS but with luck a small loss!

    Have a good day everyone.

    Hi everyone,
Enjoy your day out denise - the picnic sounds great.
The cottage pie last night was lush. I don't often make it as DS2 and DD aren't all that keen. Clean plates all round so they were obviously hungry :)
No running today - rest day. Will go for a walk later as need a couple of bits from MrT.
    Food today will be:
    B - weetabix, skimmed milk - HEXB/HEXA
L - grilled bacon, poached egg, mushrooms
D - SW sticky pork stir fry - 1 syn
    Snacks - pineapple, apple
    Total syns planned - 1
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Morning all!  Hope you enjoy your day out denise - DH and I keep talking about getting a NT membership but he thinks we wouldn't use it enough and I say that we would because we'd have it 🤣  Picnic sounds lovely and has given me some ideas for a baby shower we're throwing for some friends later on in the month!

Feeling a bit tired today after my run this morning - switched up the route a little and ended up going a bit further which was good.  Did some upper arm stuff last night and can definitely see and feel a difference so hopefully I'm building good and lasting habits, although going back to the office might stop all that!

Breakfast this morning was ff greek yogurt, strawberries, blueberries and granola. Lunch is going to be a chicken and bacon salad (I might even soft boil an egg to go with it) and then dinner tonight is a pork rice bowl thing with aubergine and peppers.  I might also have a slice of DH's birthday cake because there's still loads left and I think he needs a hand with finishing it off 😆
