My consultant has been OK. I'm sure she'll have been active on Facebook but I don't do that so it's my choice. She's sent me a few texts to ask how I'm doing and always replies if I message her. I guess she's one of the better ones. 😊
Sorry I missed your post coxy. What I do is not official but I've done it since Day 1 so I'm sticking with it. 😁 I start every Thursday with a syn bank of 105 syns. I keep most of my meal plan low syn or syn free and then have loads of wine syns on a weekend. Usually that starts on Friday but I'm trying to limit it to just Saturday and Sunday this week to get into target range. I was 1 lb over in December and as I don't weigh at home I'll find out next week how I've done. 🤞1 -
I can't even say my temp consultant has been active on Facebook! She hardly ever posted; the page has been nearly slow with hardly anyone posting - not even the ones who used to post regularly. Once I start with the new consultant it will be a different Facebook group anyway even though it's all the same area. I think it would be better if the whole island was on one group.
DH is playing golf this morning and my DD2 is coming to visit - do hope the rain holds off though! Don't fancy sitting outside under umbrella's especially as we'll be eating outside too.
Today's plan:
B - fried up LO potato; bacon; eggs; tomatoes, mushrooms - P; S; F
L - jacket potato; vegetable bolognaise - P; S; F
D - KFC; SW chips; corn on the cob; baked beans - P; F
S - Ryvita; HM hummus; pickles - HEB; P; S (if peckish)
HEA - milk
HEB - Ryvita (if needed/wanted)
Syns - hummus 1; 2 rum & ginger beer 5
Have a good day everyone.

Hi everyone,
Weigh day for me and this week I've put on 1.25lb which means I'm now 0.5lb over that dreaded number again. I'm feeling quite down about it tbh. That's 1.75lb on over the last two weeks. Yes it's TOTM this week and weekend food was on the high syns side, but I've seriously reined it in all week and had barely any syns, overall I'm under for the week and have run 5k 3 times. Just feeling very despondent.
I've got 6 weeks until I go on my 1k mile walk and I wanted to be 7.5 lbs lighter than I currently am. Just can't see myself getting to that target now given it's taken since January for me to lose 8lb.
I could quite easily self-sabotage today and each carp, but I'm going to give my head a wobble and try not to do that.
Food today:
B - pineapple, baked beans, WM toast, cheese - HEXB/HEXA1
L - bacon, egg, mushrooms, tomatoes
D - JP, prawns, salad leaves, tomatoes - 1 syn
HEXA2 - milk
Snacks - apple
Total syns planned - 1, plus a rum and pepsi max tonight so 3.5 total
Have a good day everyone,

Don't be despondent Coxy. TOTM is never a good time to weigh. I know it's not easy but stop trying so hard as often this makes things worse! I know that when I was nearing target it was very difficult to lose and very easy to gain but once I relaxed about things a bit then the weight started moving again.
Try not to think about things so much and just relax about it all and I'm sure it'll all come good in the end.0 -
Morning all. As denise said, I wouldn't get too worried about your weight this week Coxy - I can easily put on 5lbs when it's TOTM because of all the bloating so I've learnt to not really trust the scales that week.
Feeling a bit mentally wobbly this morning - someone from my old workplace found my new work twitter account and sent me a rather nice message last night but it's brought up all the negative stuff that happened while I was there. Went for my run which helped but still feeling not that great. Luckily no meetings today for work so I can spend a day "researching".
Breakfast was the same as most of the week; ff greek yogurt, strawberries and a couple of chicken sausages. Lunch is going to be a salmon and cucumber sandwich (have a weird craving for one and found a tine of salmon in the cupboard so it must be fate!) with some cherry tomatoes and yellow pepper slices on the side, followed by cottage pie for dinner tonight - some good old comfort food for a grey and drizzly day.

hi all,
Just gousto this week, got such a good discount code I couldn’t resist trying it, just a one off though.
I cooked the veg packed pasta last night so that is actually lunch and dinner today, with a few extra veggies. I have adapted them to be as slimming friendly as possible, I swapped the gousto cheddar cheese for my low fat version and where sugar was required I used sweetener. There are three cheese in todays pasta so just synning it. Not great quantities of cheese either so not too bad. The rest of the ingredients were free. So its also low fat. Next week il be back on plan with probably one sw recipe and one out of pinch of nom book. Not sure what yet
I’m away and up early tomorrow so I had a quick dip on the scales, maybes half a pound off – TOTM due so that would explain a lot. @Coxy11 @ruby_eskimo @joedenise The weight can go up as much as 5 pounds when that happens. Its unreal. But then I feel bloated so it is understandable. i take it with a pinch of salt!
B – fruit and fibre ss milk
L – veg packed pasta
D – veg packed pasta
The fridge is very very empty now the gousto is cooked – time to fill up tomorrow

Don't be disheartened coxy. The weight will come off if you stick to plan, just not to order in weekly amounts. Your menu for today is absolutely excellent. Hopefully you've got nothing to derail you this weekend and you'll be in control of your food. It's hidden syns in food in restaurants and with friends that can cause problems.
The variety of recipes seems to be motivating you well klew. I suppose with those menu boxes they wouldn't want to waste money on large amounts of ingredients so that helps.
I'm having another syn free Friday. Not looking forward to this evening but I have to try.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit, skinny syrup, banana (F), strawberries (S), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk
L- veggie omelette (P,S) with pickles (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrots, creamy cabbage with HEA2, broccoli, mange tout, mushrooms, tomatoes (S)
Syns- 01 -
I had a very limited veggie omelette at lunchtime. When I looked in the fridge I had just one tomato and a green pepper left before I went shopping. Tasted OK, but green peppers aren't my favourite though.
Fortunately they had the Super6 beetroot (vacuum packed) in Aldi today so stocked up. 😋0 -
Evening all
Coxy keep plodding x
