Afternoon all, we're back from our weekend away but only for a few days as we're off again for the long BH weekend probably Thursday!  Meeting up with the same friends again so it will be another boozy weekend - they are a very bad influence!  There will have to be lots of damage limitation for the few days we are at home to try and undo some of the syns!

TIE so sorry to hear that.  It's awful that you have to go back into hospital again for another biopsy.  Hope it goes better this time and they hit the right spot.

It was really cold this morning but it has brightened up nicely now.  First machine load of washing on the line and another load in the machine now.  Still plenty to do including the bedding from the motorhome.

    Today's plan:

    B - fry up - sausages, egg, mushrooms, beans - P; S; F; 2
    L - ham & pickle sandwich - HEB; P; 1
    D - mutton casserole with pearl barley, mash - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
Syns - sausages 2; low fat spread 0.5; pickle 0.5

It seems more like 'normal' fitting in the plan between doing more sociable things denise. Back to being 'good when we can'. 😁

The Asda website is showing the Uncle Ben's sauce on offer bubbs. I've got plenty in stock myself. It's a great buy for 6 syns for the whole jar.

Does anyone think we should start a new thread soon? I always think threads that are too long can put off lurkers who might like to join. The New Year is almost 4 months old now. Any ideas? 🤔

We're having one of the little Morrison's pork joints today. It looks lovely and lean and excellent value for money.😋

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, baked beans (F), fried eggs and bacon (P), HEB toast, HEA milk
L- JP (F) with veggie chilli (P,S) and beetroot (S)
D- roast pork (P), SW roast potatoes (F), many vegetables (S)
    Syns- gravy 4, weekend wine😊

I certainly think it's time for a new thread.  We usually do New Year to Easter; Easter to Summer; then September to New Year.

It's definitely back to Good when I can at the moment!  I need to sort out my May menu plan as the new month starts while we're away next weekend so going to check out what I've got in the freezer and decide what else I need to buy.

Denise welcome home.......for a few days, least you have had good weather 😁

Very windy here today but i got got beddding dry, well half yesterday and half today too much for 1 load i think, also washed our bed throw as with the wind would dry lovely as it's thick cotton and can take forever to dry!

    Thanks Beanie certainly feels better.

The pork joint we had from Morrison’s last week was so tender. Think it was made of elastic though as it lasted forever.
I was out at ds yesterday so body magic of a 3 mile walk. We did have an ice-cream then home made lasagne with lots of speedy veg in and sauce made with skimmed milk and a tiny piece of baguette. Hard to syn up since I didn’t make it. Over syns probably but not disasterous
    Today
brunch heb toast, beans, bacon and hea cheese and tomatoes
tea - rice, naan bread 5 syns chicken korma 😲😲😲just checked the syns and it’s 47.5 syns for the jar so I had less than 1/4 jar......i made a big pot when we had family round and put lots of hidden veg in so I’m sure exactly how many portions we got from it and froze the last 2 portions. So 12 syns is over estimating......probably 10 syns.
Snacks ice lolly 4 1/2 syns
I’m in at around 20 syns for the day which I can make up over the week 👍

Urgh not a great weekend food-wise. Did the 20k hike and took a packed lunch of wm cheese and pickle roll, 2 satsumas and bag of Burton's fish and chips (nostalgic treat). Had chicken shish kebab takeaway last night as DH had been sanding all day at DS1s house and I was too pooped to cook.
Did a 5k walk with neighbour today but food has been awful, just snacking on stuff.
Looked at the route for my big walk with DSis yesterday and she made some comments which have got me in a spin. I'm the practical one, she's the spontaneous one. Just so worried I haven't planned properly. Anxiety overload right now and eating poorly makes it even worse.
DH has just put a small joint of beef on, and we will have roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, broccoli and cabbage with it, so one good meal at least.
    Sorry for the brain dump.
Glad you had a good time away denise.
    Have a good evening everyone,

Morning all, looks as though it's going to be another nice day today.  First machine load on.  Have 2 more loads plus bedding from motorhome, although I'll leave that in the MH until I'm ready to wash it!  I'll certainly get the 3 loads of normal washing done today but will probably leave the bedding until tomorrow as going out shopping as need to buy some new T-shirts as have thrown out some of my old ones.  Also need to buy some more socks.  As we'll be out have decided to do the normal top up shop today rather than tomorrow.

    Today's plan:

    B - kedgeree - P; S; F
L - beans and tomatoes on toast
D - stuffed chicken breast wrapped in bacon; roast potatoes, roasted peppers and onions, green veg

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - Primula Light
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned :)

    Have a good day everyone.
