    Morning,

Yes I believe it's c.2k per venue. Each week the consultant deducts the cost of venue hire from their takings and then gives 50% of what's left to SW, and keeps 50%. They also make commission on mags, shop products, books etc. If a new consultant takes over that venue, they pay SW again for the franchise.

Made the SW chicken tikka masala last night. Lovely, if a bit fiddly threading the chicken on to skewers (I'm not keen on handling raw meat). Family loved it, so will definitely do it again, although the aroma is still with us in the kitchen! Haircut booked for this morning (yay)

Food today is undecided so will report back!

    Morning all,

@joedenise - chilli beef and stir fry vegetables. it was perfectly edible but might not do it again. Purely because i prefer other meats to mince in a stir fry.
3 miles last night but a causal three, the heart didn't get going much.
Nice 1 mile in the sun this morning. If it is warm tonight after a walk with a friend we are going to the local Italian for some alfresco dining. If it is cold we will postpone.
    B - Granola SS Milk
L - Flatbread, Chicken tikka slices, spinach and Tzatziki
D - if not the Italian - LO Chilli Beef.

Coxy no reason why you can't just cook the chicken tikka masala in a pan rather than threading onto skewers.  It's what I'd do!  I can't see much point in skewering it to cook it and then having to get it off the skewer to eat it!  The only thing I ever skewer is vegetables for the BBQ!

SW certainly seem to make plenty of money out of the consultants but they must make enough to make it worthwhile.  My old consultant gave up a full time time to take on the groups but suspect it was cheaper back then as she was a consultant for about 18 years.

I jumped on the scales this morning to see how the weight was going and it's definitely going in the right direction!  Only 0.5lb over top end of target so not too bad.  Will keep low syn again today and hopefully I'll lose that half!

Need to portion up the goat tagine, which was really good last night.  There's at least 2 and possibly 3 more meals for DH and I.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - Minestrone with chicken (from freezer) - P; S; F
    D - baked salmon; mini roasties; green veg - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

That's good news on the scales denise :)
I marinaded the chicken in yoghurt and curry powder then skewered it and popped under the grill to chargrill it, then mixed it into the sauce. Not sure what it would be like just popping it in the pan with the spices and tomato puree. I am a virgo so follow instructions to the letter lol!
Have just had some weetabix and skimmed milk. Not sure about lunch/dinner yet though.

Morning all!  My SiL almost became a SW consultant but the area she lived in was completely saturated with groups so she'd have had to go elsewhere and decided it wasn't really worth it.  I think SW is really struggling at the moment as I saw they sent out a memo attacking calorie counting which seemed a bit misplaced but hey ho.

Had an off day yesterday - woke up not feeling great and DH telling me I looked awful 🤣 Feeling a lot better today, just in time for my last day at work this week.  Had some FF greek yogurt with strawberries this morning, still trying to work out what I'm going to have for lunch and then dinner is going to be fajita bowls with the left over chicken from our roast at the weekend.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Forgot to say when I posted earlier DH and I have got our 2nd jabs this evening so that's a couple of weeks earlier than expected.  Just hope I don't feel as bad after this one as I did last time!

I hadn't heard about that memo ruby but like you think it's a bit misplaced.  Some people like to count calories as well - but not me I just can't be bothered.  I don't think I would have stuck to a calorie counting diet!  That's the reason I particularly like SW.

Thanks for the oyster sauce info. The one I have is a free one.
I didn’t get around to eating it either.....the day was side tracked and I went off plan big time after my ham salad. So I’ll have it tonight and try to stay on track today.

Change of plan for lunch!  DH has a hospital appointment at the hospital near our DD1s and she's invited us for lunch.  Unfortunately I couldn't go with him as was waiting for a surveyor to come to measure up our windows for new double glazing.  So he's going to have lunch and DD1s and I'm just going to have a ham salad with pickles.  The soup can wait until tomorrow as it still hasn't quite defrosted so will be fine.

Glad the oyster sauce was a Free one milann.  Don't worry about an off plan meal - there are another 20 meals in the week!  You can enjoy your stir fry tonight instead.

I think SW rather shot themselves in the foot putting prices up during lockdown. I expect they're really hoping for a bounce back (literally🤣) effect when people roll back in after lockdown trying to lose what they've gained from the comfort eating.

I'm sure your DH meant well but no one likes to be told they look awful ruby. Enjoy your weekend in the caravan, it'll be good for you.
I'm sure you'd have liked to see your DD denise but it's nice to have some time to yourself and lunch on your own sometimes too. We have painters in today doing the outside of the house. All the windows are open but, at least, they have good musical taste. 😊 I hope it does stay warm enough for your meal klew. Just keep away from creamy sauces and pizzas and you won't go far wrong.

I'm going to check out that curry recipe coxy. I'm always on the lookout for a good HM one. 😋

Well done for getting back on plan today milann. Do you sabotage yourself or are you lead astray? 🤔

I've got almost the same dinner as you planned denise. We've really enjoyed the mini roasties recently. I cut them into small cubes and they crisp up nicely. The veg is going to be a bit of a fridge clearing exercise before I shop tomorrow.

    Today's EE plan=
B- NAS grapefruit (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, fried egg (P), mushrooms' and tomatoes (S)
L- LO corned beef hash and veg (P,S,F)
D- baked salmon (P), mini roasts (F), green medley (peas, mange tout, TS broccoli) and roast veg (S)
    Syns- 0
