Afternoon all.  Hope the GP can give you  some good advice with regard to DHs blood test results.  Very trying time for you both.

Had a bacon baguette for breakfast.  Just had a burger and onions in a WM roll for lunch and very nice it was too! Going to do Spanish rice for dinner tonight.  Good job it's a new week.  That probably a full day's syns already.  Will probably have a rum or 2 tonight.

You're not the only pig around here bubbs! 😁 I have massive portions for my meals, bigger than my DH. The secret is to eat the right things.

I agree about SW and the free food ruby. My first consultant always used to say 'fill your boots' with free food and I could never understand the logic. If each meal is supposed to be at least a third of Speed and then in between you fill up on free food, surely you're upsetting that ratio? I know it's better to fill up on free food than, say, biscuits but I like to keep the proportion right across the day.

    Morning all,

I don’t mind using the sugar free beans in something but to have them alone on say a baked potato boh, mixed with cheese I can just about cope.

I was late in from the walk last night and the delightful dog rolled in something dead which meant cooking curry from scratch was scratched! I had a jar of tikka masala in the cupboard which was a lot of syns but I only used half the recommended and added extra veg. leftovers for lunch today and tonight is tuna baked potato with leftover salad bits. Going to look through my SW cook book tonight for some inspiration for next weeks meals! Also going to try and be super good this weekend and not slide out of my plan

i have my main meals and dont really snack at all so they probably are a large portion!

Is it weird that I really can't tell the difference between one tin of beans and the next?  Must be why I don't mind the reduced S&S ones 🤣  DH always adds worcestershire sauce to his to make them "BBQ" beans so he doesn't care either!

Woke up in a bit of a funk today but managed to pull myself out of bed to my desk so work is a go.  Had a bacon sandwich for breakfast again this morning with some blueberries on the side.  No idea on lunch yet but dinner is going to be homity pie and Linda M's Red onion and rosemary sausages as per DH's request.  Managed to pick 2 boxes up at the weekend for half price so we'll be good for a while.

Hope everyone has a good day!

    Hi everyone,

Nice bright day again. Did a 5k run in 31:32 so I'm getting faster lol :)

Weigh day today and I've lost 1.5lbs this week which now means a new 'big' number on the scales - I'm half a pound under the previous big number. This is a huge psychological boost for me. I have had kiwi and melon this week which has mixed up my fruit intake. I have also done 3 x 5k runs which I'm sure has helped. Onwards!!!!

    Food today:
B - mushrooms, spinach, poached egg, wm toast - HEXB
L - lo pulled pork, tomatoes, salad leaves
D - JP, baked beans, cheese, salad leaves - 1 syn/HEXA1 - family having scampi and chips - I WILL RESIST!
    HEXA2 - milk
Snacks - kiwi, satsuma, apple, grapes
Syns - I'm meeting a friend in her garden tonight, so will have a couple of rums and pepsi max - 5. Total syns planned - 6

TIE - hope doctors provided some reassurance to you and DH yesterday, thinking of you both x

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Well done Coxy, great result this week.

Consultant has posted a video on our Facebook page and looks like the 3 Thursday groups are going to be transferred to other groups in the area from  next month.  So I  think I'll probably transfer to the Friday am one I was thinking about before this lockdown.
