Oh i have decided as well, i am going to cut baked beans down, as rarely ate them when i started SW and i am eating an awful lot and my weight is not going down :( or i don't think it is and this is the only thing i can put my finger on that is different and it's getting me down :(

They are nearly 400 calories a tin! I know we don't count calories but they all add up. So for breakfast when i have a cooked one i am going to have tin toms instead and see if it makes a difference, if that makes no difference i may try a smaller plate, but because i rarely have carbs i am worried about being hungry 😏

It'll be interesting to see how you get on bubbs. SW sort of downgraded beans when they made them just free and not even protein. I've always been convinced that loads of Speed (along with planning) are the secrets of success with SW so tomatoes should help. Personally I rarely have much Speed at breakfast but I probably have at least 50% Speed at other meals. When I was getting to target I'd eat satsumas mid morning to be sure I was getting enough. Tomatoes should be particularly good as I've always leaned towards having my Speed as veg rather than fruit.

It has to be worth a try bubbs. Your meal plan is almost SP as you have so few carbs compared with EE.

I decided I was a bit hungry after all. I had some ham, fried eggs with mushrooms and beetroot. 😋

Blood test 12pm, out of hours rang 8.30pm to say test results are kidneys shot. Freaked us out by saying don’t do this that the other and if feel unwell get to hospital!! Back to Dr in morning too.
Has no symptoms for kidney failure though 🤔. 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
Its not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T

@TakeItEazy hope the doctors appointment brings some answers

So last nights chicken curry turned into vodka lime and sodas at the pub, outdoors of course with friends – oops! I decided this was the best thing to drink. Im not a bear or lager or cider fan anyway which is lucky! So a pot noodle was had when I got home to warm me up. Woke up absolutely starving this morning but took the dog out and did two miles in a good time with frost under foot.

    b- fruit and fibre milk

cous cous, boiled egg, chicken, spring onion, pickled onion, cucumber and celery

d – last nights planned chicken curry! With rice.

TIE - thinking of you and DH and hope the doctors can give you answers and reassurance.

Didn't eat dinner until 9.15pm last night as was at DS1s house painting. Have only eaten a satsuma so far today. Going to DS1s again tonight, but my plan is to make bolognaise pasta bake this afternoon and might have some before I go?? It's weigh day tomorrow morning so don't want anything spoiling my progress  ;)

    Food today:
    B - satsuma - might have some weetabix shortly - HEXB/HEXA1
L - there is lo pulled pork and cauli cheese that need eating - some syns
D - bolognaise bake - carrots, tomatoes, onion, green beans
    HEXA2 - milk
    Snacks - apple, grapes, melon
Syns - some for the flour/butter

Anyone have ideas for an abundance of spring onions please? I had some with salad earlier this week but have two large bunches. Can I make soup do you think - what would go with it? Sorry if that sounds a bit dim!

    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Thinking of you tie. Tough times for you both. Hope GP can give some answers about the kidney issues tomorrow. xx

I use spring onions instead of white onions in lots of recipes so should work in soup coxy. I'd start by adding some to the Bolognese bake too. If desperate I'd chop them up and open freeze for adding to casseroles. It works for leeks so should be fine. They make a nice snack with a slice of ham wrapped around.

Your drinks were good choices klew. IIRC it's 3 syns for a single measure of vodka. There's some in lime cordial too but overall far better than beer or wine. 🤞 for tomorrow.

I obviously went over syns last week because of yesterday's pub visit but fresh start today.

    Today's EE plan -
B- NAS grapefruit (F), scrambled eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
    L- ham (P), bubble and squeak (F, S), pickles (S)
    D- SW Bolognese (P, S), tagliatelle (F), HEA2 Parmesan
    Syns - HP sauce 1

Morning!  Hope the Dr can give you both some good advice TIE.  My DH regularly gets told that his Liver is failing according to his blood tests but it's just that his vitamin D levels are low so has to go back on the supplements and then magically the next test shows his liver is doing great.  Fingers crossed it's something as simple as that!

Fingers crossed reducing the bean intake works for you too bubbs.  My one gripe with SW is that just because something is free, doesn't mean you should be eating loads and loads of it, especially processed stuff.  As maman said, a diet full of fruit and veg is good for you as you know (I've never known someone to eat so much speed on one plate!) but the sauce that beans come in can vary greatly with how much salt and sugar are in them.  I always try to get the reduced salt and sugar ones just to make myself feel better 😆

Had a bacon and mushroom sandwich for breakfast today which hit the spot.  Lunch is going to be the lentil and coconut soup I found in the freezer last night and then dinner will be a basa fillet from the freezer with some green beans and minty mushy peas 😋

We're going to stay in my MiL's caravan next weekend and when I was trying to ask DH what meals he wanted while we're there, his only response was "cheese" 😏
