Morning all! Woke up to snow here and it's still coming down. Hope you aren't affected denise and have a lovely trip away and happy anniversary for later on in the week.
Not a lot to report in from the weekend - I may have jumped on the scales this morning but don't think they really reflect what's going on at the moment so I'm just ignoring them. Had a slice of toast and some strawberries for breakfast, will have leftover shepherds pie for lunch and then dinner is a new recipe I'm trying for a chicken and rice bake with some light coconut milk and green beans in it. Will also probably chuck some frozen spinach in too and some mushrooms for my bit.

Thank you bubbs and beanie. Anniversary isn't until Saturday. Hoping to be able to find somewhere to eat out as long as it isn't too cold! If not it may well be a takeaway in the van - I definitely am not cooking!
I've menu planned for the week and managed to get all the main ingredients into the little icebox; should only need to buy a few bits like ham and probably some more cucumber, although there may well be enough left.
Not leaving for another couple of hours as can't get onto the site until this afternoon. We've got about a 3 hour journey to get there so hopefully we won't get there too early!
Not sure how often I'll post but I'll at least try and get on from time to time to read and see how everyone is doing.

Good morning all,
I stood on the scales and as predicted it wasn’t great (star week) but I have registered a sts ( I stood on and off about ten times and one of them was a sts ha) I feel like I have done nowt but eat over the weekend but it is because I didn’t do a lot of walking. Did a walk this morning at 6.30… minus 3 it was! Fresh! Walking tonight and it will be a long one so I am looking forward to that
B – granola milk
L – chicken salad
D – roast pork, peas, carrots, baked potato gravy
My friend is moving house and having a clear out she has just given me a sw book extra easy express – only looked at a couple of pages and already have seen 2 dishes I want to try

Have a good time denise. The snow hasn't come this far so you should be fine. At the moment it's dry and sunny and about 10 degrees. It feels quite warm in the sun.
I was reading about a podcast that Dr Michael Mosely has done klew and a walk early in the day is meant to be really good for your health.

I rang my hairdresser earlier and she's fitting me in at 5.30 p.m. tonight!! It'll mean juggling about a bit with dinner but if I get things prepped before I go then I shan't need to change my planned menu. I'm only having it cut, highlights can wait for another day when the rush has died down. 💇🏼♀️ I expect this emoji is being used a lot today! 🤣
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA milk, scrambled eggs (P)
L- LO tuna pasta bake with beetroot (P,S,F)
D- baked cod (P), SW chips, mushy peas (F), broccoli, mushrooms, cauli steak, tomato (S)
Syns- HP sauce 1

We were sitting outside the van until about half hour ago. Was really warm a little while ago and even took my jumper off for a while!
I managed to book a hairdresser appointment for Tuesday next week. She could have fitted me in at my usual Friday time this week but of course I'm not going to be at home.
We're going to try and book a table for lunch on Saturday at a restaurant overlooking the harbour when we walk into town. Think the evening will probably be too cold!

Evening all
Denise glad you arrived safely, it was frosty here this morning but has been a lovely day.
Today i have had the best news ever 😁😁
I never said anything before as needed this day to come first.
About a month ago my sister (not the one that lost her husband) went to have her coil removed.
They could not find it, so she had to go for a scan.
At the scan they said straight away, we think you have bladder cancerso within a space of 10 days, she had the scan, saw the consultant, pre op and the following week surgery 😱 then she had to wait 3 weeks, (surgery was 3 weeks last Friday) Today the consultant was ringing at 4.25.....They rang, said they had removed it all and no further treatment required , WOOOOOOHOOOOOOOO
but she has to have a scan every 3 months to check it is not growing back.
So if she had not wanted her coil removed, (which btw is still not as they couldn't do at the same time as there was too big a risk of a big bleed) she would not have known.
