Weighed this morning and lost 1lb. A very mixed week but the challenge of writing everything in my diary is making me think 😀
Started off really well yesterday - no syns but I came off track when we were out later than I expected and I succumbed to a pizza slice from Greg’s 271/2 syns. But I’ve logged it and told myself tomorrow will be a good day. So far so good 👍
breakfast - heb bacon and tomato barmcake
dinner - ham, cheese hea and salad
tea - fish with most of the batter removed and half a dozen chips and mushy peas - going out for a ride and having fish and chips whilst out. - no idea how many syns but using my total allowance for the day on this
snacks - yoghurt with raspberries and 1/2 teaspoon maple syrup, 1/2 syn satsuma, pear
Body magic - walking 👍January spends - £587.582 -
Well done on your losses milann and coxy. really pleased for you both! 😁
Good to know your parents are being really positive about your finger coxy! 🤣
You'll get over the Greggs and the fish supper milann. No sure if you had enough left in last week's bank for the Gregg's but definitely OK going forward this week. It's a good feeling to have 105 to enjoy.
I use this recipe for garlic mushrooms (we're having some tonight😋)
Creamy Garlic Mushrooms with Roasted Jacket Potatoes | Slimming Eats
I use chestnut mushrooms as they stay firm and don't leak colour into the sauce. I also use lazy garlic and spring onions but that's from idleness. The recipe says 2 syns for cheese but I use Primula and some Parmesan as a HEA so that makes it free.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit (F), kippers (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- veggie omelette (P,S) with beetroot (S)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), carrot chips, asparagus, sugar snap, tomato, garlic mushrooms with HEA2 (S)
Syns- kippers 1.5, weekend wine😁1 -
Afternoon all, I don't know where today has gone! DH went out about 10.30 this morning to play golf so have been on my own. It's been bliss on having the TV on all day - DH has it on most of the time even when he's on his iPad and not even watching it but won't let me turn it off - drives me mad!
Well done Coxy and milann on your losses. It doesn't matter how slow it is as long as it comes off, of course I think we'd all like to have big losses but lots of us only lose slowly. I seem to have plateaued again but not much I can do about it at the moment with going away next week but I'm keeping the syns low until we go in the hopes that anything off plan won't do too much damage next week!
Have put all my clothes into the motorhome ready for next week, apart from a couple of jumpers which I still need to wash (including the one I'm wearing today so that's a job for either tomorrow or Sunday. Have done a machine load of washing today and that's all been line dried and put away.
Today's plan:
B - almond baked oats; mixed frozen fruit; frozen cherries; Greek yoghurt - HEB; S; P; 1.5
L - Greek Salad - HEA2; S; F; 1.5
D - butter chicken, rice - P; S; F; 3
HEA1 - milk
HEA2 - feta cheese
Syns - flaked almonds 1.5; olives 1.5; butter 3; may have a couple of rum & ginger beer tonight but not decided yet will see whether I fancy it
Have a good weekend everyone.

Afternoon all! Well done on the losses milann and Coxy. I haven't weighed in properly for a couple of weeks due to star week and other things but actually feel quite good about things.
Agree that those creamy mushrooms look really good bubbs, will have to have some for lunch tomorrow probably!
I was going to have fake KFC for dinner tonight but we have a couple of peppers to use up in the fridge so stuffed peppers it is. Will stuff them with a kind of spanish rice mixture, with some chorizo and black olives added in. Wasn't too hungry for breakfast this morning so just had some strawberries and blueberries and then cheese on toast for lunch. About to go out for my third jog of the week now before it chucks it down!

Well done on keeping up with the exercise ruby. It's good for the feel good factor as well as all other benefits.😊
I suppose using the stock cube gives the flavour to the mushrooms that I get from the onions bubbs. I soften the cheese with a splash of water from the broccoli or whatever veg I'm cooking at the same time.
I got a text message from my consultant. Basically to ask how I'm doing but to tell me that they're moving to a new venue next month. It's even nearer home for me, I could walk there if needed. I was interested in the fact she said next month. That suggests they're expecting RL classes to start from the May 17th date set for indoor venues.
DH and I tend to keep out of each others way most of the time and just meet up for meals denise.🤣 That's probably how we've survived lockdown as normally we'd both be out a lot.0 -
