Morning all!  The rest of the egg went last night maman and yes, I ate the design too 🥺 I took a picture though before I cracked it open so at least have something to remember it by.

Well done on the STS denise.  I think we've all been that person who just goes a bit crazy the night before weigh in at least once.

Went for my second "run" of Week 2 of Couch to 5K last night and I felt really off but ploughed through.  Did my daily yoga when I got back and it was actually a session for moody days when you just don't feel right so perfect timing really!  Felt a lot better afterwards so hoping it's a habit I can stick to - also helps lessen the soreness after working out too.

Had scrambled egg on toast and mushrooms for breakfast this morning alongside some watermelon and blueberries - tasbasco seems to make all the difference to scrambled egg and means I can actually eat it now 😂  Not sure I can brave trying a omelette just yet though, small steps!  Going to have another ham and cheese salad for lunch today followed by some leftover chicken curry and mushroom rice from the freezer for dinner.

Hope you're all staying warm and safe!

    Morning everyone,

Sorry beanie - I can't help with the bunion question either although did have a 30 yo friend who had both operated on together. She was on crutches and had 2 yo twins at the time - not a great combo.
I'm having a lot of anxiety at the moment and can't put my finger on what the issue is. Trying to be a bit calmer today and will get out for a walk later I think.

    Food today:
    B - WM toast and jam - HEXB/1 syn
L - grilled bacon, poached egg, beans, tomatoes
D - family are having mac n cheese, so probably pasta with parmesan for me - HEXA1
    HEXA2 - milk
    Snacks - benefit bar - 3 syns

Not a lot of speed going on today which probably reflects my mood tbh.
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

Coxy - no reason for you to not have Mac n cheese!  The recipe on SlimmingEats website is only 2.5 syns and you can reduce that by 2 using some of your HEA milk rather than synning it.  I've got Mac n cheese on my menu this month and that's what I'm going to be using.

    Link to recipe:  https://www.slimmingeats.com/blog/quick-mac-cheese

Ruby - I love scrambled eggs but DH isn't too keen although will eat it, he much prefers an omelette or fried eggs though.

Our mac n cheese recipe is the N!gella Express one - with red leicester, eggs and 400ml evaporated milk for the quick cheese sauce. Think it's a step too far being the night before weigh in(!) but take your point about the other recipe. Something to try next time we menu plan for it, thank you denise.
Have been for a walk and have eaten my lunch. Now feeling a bit brighter. Have a doctors phone assessment tonight - not for the anxiety but for a swollen finger joint. The medic in me thinks it's the start of arthritis but will see what they say.
Well done on the running ruby. I started with C25K as well and now it's a bit of a habit. I really miss running on my rest days - never thought I'd ever say that.
    Have a good afternoon everyone,
    Coxy

Well done on STS denise. You can text the consultant with a clear conscience. I'm not surprised that last night's syns hadn't caught up but you seemed to have dodged the profiteroles too. 😁

I admire those people who have WI day on  Monday. I could never be sensible all day Sunday! I can cope without syns midweek but not at weekends. 😊

    Today's EE plan-

B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), bacon, fried eggs (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk

L- very small JP (F), cottage cheese (P),  beetroot (S), lentil soup (P,S)

    D- SW Bolognese (P,S)< tagliatelle (F), HEA2 Parmesan

    Syns- 0

I skipped the cheese at lunchtime and will use HEA2 for the feta in the spanakopita tonight.  The recipe says it can be frozen so I'm making the full recipe and will freeze half for another time.  DH nearly had kittens when he saw how much spinach goes into it!  There's a kg for 4 portions so plenty of Speed in it and I'll also do some veg on the side so think the plate will be more than half Speed.

The profiteroles were on Tuesday last week maman but not only did I have those I also had a few pieces of lemon drizzle cake!  I really should be quite pleased with STS but for some reason I'm not!  I think it's because I'm fed up with hovering around top end of target!  It's going to be some time before I'm going to be able to really stick to plan properly because of keep going away!  It's not always easy to stick to plan as I'm so used to using the oven for meals when we're at home but don't have an oven in the motorhome and only have 3 rings on the hob.  It's not so bad when we have electric but a lot of the breaks we have are just in a field so no electric and just have the batteries to run the lights and TV so can't use my Remoska.

I never think of having garlic mushrooms other than as a side dish bubbs. Good idea for when I'm stuck for lunch.

I watched that programme about KFC. They had all sorts in the mix. I've never actually eaten 'real' KFC so I'm really happy with fake. I made up a new batch today ready for tomorrow.

Food shopping again tomorrow. I'm determined to do my meal plan with as much as possible from the freezer.

    Morning all,

The mince turned into lasagne, the mince mixture was slimming world friendly with plenty of speed and 5% but the sauce was a basic bechamel plus cheese. There is 4 portions. I had last nights with lettuce and cucumber very simple. When I thought about the lasagne I felt a slightly guilty about the sauce, then I thought you know what when I used to make lasagne I would use a dolmio sauce and loads of sauce. 20% mince and have it with chips or chips and salad or a large dollop of coleslaw. So there has definitely been an improvement made in my life for sure! My portion size is smaller too!

    B – fruit and fibre

    L – lasagne

D – tuna Bp and salad

I don’t feel like the scales will be kind to me this weekend as feeling extremely bloated due to * week. I also did an early morning stomp with the dog but he is at the vets tonight for boosters and unfortunately has sedation to go so no walking afterwards. I actually wonder how I react to this as I don’t remember the last time we didn’t walk on an evening!

    Hi everyone,

Those garlic mushrooms look amazing bubbs - what do you use for them please?
I love lasagne klew - all those changes definitely make a difference. Hope doggy is okay.

I did a 5k run this morning in 32:15 - I'm determined to smash into the 31s at some point lol!

Doctor called me. I need an xray on my finger as joint is swollen. DMum says it's probably arthritis and DDad says it might be gout - great!

Weighed in this morning and have lost 1lb which is great. Only another 1lb to go and I'm on the next stone marker which will be a huge boost for me. I'm an incredibly slow loser and have only lost 7.5lb since the start of the year. Frustrating but that's how it is!

Haven't eaten yet as have been busy with work so food today will be:

    B - Weetabix, skimmed milk - HEXB/HEXA1
L - LM sausages, egg, beans
    D - Spanish chicken - 5 syns for chorizo
    HEXA1 - milk
    HEXA2 - mini babybel light
    Snacks - benefit bar - 3 syns
Total syns - 8 plus will have a rum n coke zero tonight so total 10.5 for today

    Have a good day all,
    Coxy
