Sorry to hear about the near miss, sounds terrifying bubbs; chocolate definitely deserved.
Well, for the first time ever, DD1s partner did dainty profiteroles instead of the huge ones he usually does! Trouble is instead of just eating the one big one I probably ate more like 7 or 8 of the smaller ones; on top of that there was also a couple of glasses rose wine - apparently we couldn't not have a drink to celebrate my birthday even if it was a day early because they won't be seeing me on my birthday! I couldn't say no could I!
Just finishing the day with a very small nightcap!

Happy Birthday denise! I hope you have a fab day
bubbs - how very frightening for you. I do hope you're okay and sure the chocolate can be put down to medicinal on this occasion
I had biscuits last night whilst watching the Crown (we are playing catch up). Definitely the forthcoming * week derailing me, but it's a new day, so mustn't beat myself up.
Is anyone going to have an Easter egg? I love the actual egg chocolate - that snappy thin chocolate tastes better than a normal chocolate bar. I'm not a chocolate snob - C@dburys will do me - cheap date that I am lol
Food today:
B - grilled bacon, poached egg, tomatoes, baked beans
L - mushroom stir fry with soy sauce
D - spag bol - HEXA for parmesan
Snacks - apple, satsuma, grapes, 4 dark rye ryvita with last piece of peri peri mackerel - HEXB/1 syn
HEXA2 - skimmed milk
Total syns planned - 1
Have a good day everyone, another nice one I think!

Morning all. Happy birthday denise, sounds like you had a lovely evening so hope you also manage to have a lovely day today also.
Glad you're ok bubbs, chocolate is definitely needed in those kind of situations. I've become such a defensive driver now after my accident on the motorway a few years ago (also caused by someone who was in a hurry and wasn't paying attention to the fact that I and everyone else in our lane had stopped).
Picking up the new laptop was a bit of an adventure - I was the first one to collect equipment (we've all been waiting a year for this stuff) and well, they hadn't really thought about how they were doing it. So I was there ages and when I got home, it looks like I'm going to have to still remote into my desktop PC in the office because there isn't anything locally on the device so a bit of a wasted journey! Oh well it got me out the house anyway.
Legs are feeling a bit stiff this morning but still hoping to go out for a jog later. Think we're having a jacket potato for dinner tonight but no idea on toppings. Will definitely be having a large salad alongside it, have a bit of a craving for beetroot this morning. Morning all, a day off cooking for me today - DH and the chippy are taking over, LOL!
Thanks Coxy - I'll definitely be trying!
Won't post today's plan as will definitely be very high syn and off plan.
Good job today is the last day of this week. Will just have to be extra good from tomorrow to try and shift a bit of weight as I want to weigh next week as we'll be away in the motorhome when I'm due to weigh again but will also have been away for a long weekend and it's never a good idea to weigh when I've been away!
Have a good day everyone.
