That's a very kind gift from your family ruby. Good idea to stretch the treats  out over time though. 😉 I'm planning a nice meal for next Sunday, probably just chicken but I might do pigs in blankets to make it feel different. And I'll get out my special lace table mats! 🤣

Your menu looks fairly Green today denise. I'd forgotten all about mushroom stroganoff. DH loves that so it can go on the next meal plan. Which recipe do you use? 🤔

It's gloriously sunny here too coxy and 14 degrees! We'll definitely get out later. Shame the weather's changed when DH has gone back to work though bubbs. Make sure you don't overdo the  gardening again.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, banana, skinny syrup (F), HEB porridge, HEA1 milk
L- cold meat (P), LO veg and pickles (S), possibly potato (F)
D- cottage pie (P,F,S) with cabbages and kale (S) and HEA2 cheese topping
    Syns- 0

    Afternoon all

Just a pound off this week but that will do me!

Only at work 2 days then off till after easter, which will be nice but im determined to stay on plan as much as possible (I may have a few drinks however)

    B: fruit and fibre milk

L: chicken tikka slices, iceberg lettuce, cucumber, celery, Boiled egg, cous cous, pickled onions and spring onions.

D – Tuna Baked potato with salady bits again.

Big walk planned for tonight as I had my first vaccine on Saturday morning and it floored me Saturday night/Sunday so me and the dog didn’t get far  – top of the pops now though,

Denise i actually ran out of eggs yesterday! so i nipped to the garage and was peeved paying £1.39 for 6 , but when i cooked them i was so happy, they were lovely 😁 but when  i dropped dh off this morning i called in Morrie's and got a tray of 30 as think they have stopped doing the other ones that i got, these are free range and £3.50 so not expensive .
Maman i wasn't gardening i was sorting the shed but done enough for today, my knee has still not recovered from last week 🙄it is still very swollen :(
Klew well done and glad you are fine and dandy today after jab :D

maman - I used the SlimmingEats mushroom stroganoff recipe but next time I'll add more paprika as there definitely wasn't enough in it.  I used mixed mushrooms but will just do it with chestnut mushrooms next time.  She uses the tubbed cream cheese but I didn't have any so just used the Primula Light as my 2nd HEA and it worked really well so will definitely use that again rather than synning the cream cheese.

bubbs - that's not a bad price for free range eggs from Morries; I buy a tray of 30 for £2.85 from the local farm shop as they tend to be much fresher than Morries eggs.  I don't think I've ever seen the trays of 30 in Morries.  The trouble is Free range aren't free range at the moment because all the hens have been in "lockdown" too so all eggs are from caged birds at the moment.  This will improve from next week as they'll be allowed out in a couple of days as their lockdown finishes on Wednesday!

Sorry klew I think I forgot to congratulate you on your promotion, so very well done.

Morning all, up early this morning!  DH woke me up about 4.30am and I couldn't get back to sleep - gave up and got up nearly an hour later so been up since 5.20am!  We'd even had breakfast by 7am - that's completely unheard of for me, it about the time I usually get up!

DH is off to golf again so I'm going to do the shopping while he's playing.  I'll need to go and pick him up when he's finished because of having the car (we've only got the one now).

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB, P, S
    L - smoked salmon and prawns with salad - P, S
    D - mustard pork with green lentils & herb aioli - P; S; F, 1.5

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - mustard 0.5; LTL mayo 1

Hope everyone has a lovely warm day today.  We're forecast about 18 or 19 degrees and virtually no wind so should be lovely.

Morning all!  We're also in for some nice weather today but I have to make a 3 hour round trip into the office to pick up a new laptop so won't really be able to take full advantage of it till a lot later.  Did manage to go for a jog yesterday evening though which was nice - I decided to mix up the exercise a little and re-start C25K again.  Wasn't too bad and the sunshine made it a bit more enjoyable.  Going back to throwing some weights around this evening though - I've missed it!

Had a couple of weetabix for breakfast and will have the last of my lentil soup for lunch, followed by a mushroom risotto for dinner, on top of the copious amounts of peppermint tea to reduce this bloating.

Hope everyone has a good day, enjoy the sunshine if you have it where you are and stay safe.

    Morning everyone,
The sun is shining here too and I'm in my shorts yay! 3.5k run this morning - bit nippy, but good to be out.
Picked up a 'magic bag' from M&S last night. Its an app where food shops/cafes advertise bags of food that would otherwise go to wastage. For £4 I got mango and watermelon spears, bag of mushroom stir fry, feta, avocado and mixed grain salad, a fresh almond croissant and a fresh pain au chocolat. Have already had the fruit as part of breakfast, teens will have the pastries, and I'll have the salad for lunch today. Will have the stir fry for lunch tomorrow.
    Food today:
    B - weetabix, skimmed milk, mango, watermelon - HEXB/HEXA1
L - feta, avocado and mixed grain salad - won't have the dressing it comes with, will use tbsp of light mayo - syns 8??
D - chicken in mascarpone and tomato sauce, new potatoes, broccoli, green beans - 5 syns
    Snacks - satsuma, apple
Total syns 13?? so much for reining it in this week lol!
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy
