I love the stock from gammon milann. It makes the best lentil soup ever. 😋 I must put it on the menu.
I had to laugh at your consultant with the ping and ding. I read today about someone who was showing off about themed, dress up dinners during lockdown. The put down was 'I do Disney dinners.... Frozen'. 🤣1 -

Wow look at you posh folk with your tablecloths - we just have slate mats here
Weighed in today with a STS which I'm disappointed with as thought I did okay this week. Next week is star week, plus Easter and tomorrow is DHs birthday. We have ordered a 'cook at home' meal from a posh restaurant closeby (got a voucher from ILs for Christmas so only cost us £2!). Can't remember the menu exactly but think its crab/scallop to start, beef for main, and banana/choc pudding of some sort. We also have a takeaway curry planned for Sunday night. So all in all it's not looking great for a loss next week - and will probably be a gain if I'm being totally honest.
I've a day's annual leave today, so will be living my best life by taking garden waste to the municipal tip. Will also treat myself by collecting DHs birthday gift, and if I'm a really good girl I will do the weekly food shop. My cup runneth over.
Food today still being decided, but pasta with courgettes and button mushrooms for dinner.
Have a good day everyone

bubbs shallots are definitely a bit sweeter than onions, like maman I like them in beef in red wine sauce also like them in beef bourguignon. They definitely look nicer in a dish than chopped onions.
Well done Mr bubbs. We use table mats rather than cloths too - I'd be forever having to wash tablecloths if we used them - DH is really messy but it's not usually his dinner it's the amount of salt and pepper he manages to get on the table, so it's easier just to have wipe clean mats.
milann I probably wouldn't bother with SW if I wasn't at target. I think it's even worse VFM now that it was previous. I can't see how they can justify £6.95 a week for Zoom meetings plus website and app. I really use it for the website and very occasionally the app, mainly for syns and recipes. You can always ask on here if you want syn values.
Today's plan:
B - boiled eggs with asparagus - P; S
L - burger & onions in WM roll - HEB; S; 0.5
D - KFC; chips; corn on the cob; beans; coleslaw - P; S; F; 1
HEA - milk
HEB - WM roll
Syns - burger 0.5; LTL mayo 1

Morning all,
This week so far has been good – new bed arrived and is lovely! Got a text to book my first and second vaccine so im going on Saturday and its very local! ANDDD I got a promotion to a managerial role :-0
Thrilled.
Breakfast – granola SS milk
Lunch – the dregs of salad bits with chicken and probably ham. There is some hummus lurking as well so I may have to make this quite picky.
Dinner – Baked potato cheese beans and whatever else I can find to fill me up!
I really need to go shopping. I usually really loosen the reins over the weekend but im going to carry on with only one treat per day and see how it goes
I lap tea every night no dinner table here unfortunately. I am looking for a modern looking drop leaf but one that is not extortionate in price.

Congratulations n the new job klew. Good week all round.😊
We have a gateleg table that we used in our previous house, when we didn't have a separate dining room. I kept it as it's a useful extra. Mine is traditional but Ikea have some quite nice modern ones. Just Google gateleg tables. I quite liked this one.

That meal sounds delicious coxy, especially the fishy starter😋. I think it's really important to make something of occasions, particularly at the moment when every day feels like Groundhog day. I thoroughly enjoyed my M&S picnic lunch and fish supper when it was my birthday a couple of weeks ago. I've always thought that SW needs to fit into your life not the other way round. If you're too hard on yourself then you'll give up. It's getting back to it afterwards that's the essential part.
I think it was a big error putting the price of SW up during lockdown denise. I made a decision not to do Zoom at the beginning and I don't do Facebook so paying would have been pointless for me. Going to WI (and occasionally staying) every 8 weeks suits me just fine for the access to the website and syn values. If I wasn't at target I might go to group at least until I got the hang of the plan. It was easier when I started because most of the everyday syns were in the books. I got to target in just under a year. It probably cost me about £250 and if someone had said at the start that they'd wave a wand and make me 3.5 stone lighter for £250 then I'd have bitten their hand off! 🤣
Food shop day today and I've got my meal plan and shopping list at the ready. Exciting times! 😁
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), HEB toast, HEA1 milk, 2 fried eggs (P), mushrooms (S)
L- beef stew (P,S,F)
D- Fake KFC (P), SW chips (F), creamy cabbage with HEA2, green medley, tomato and mushrooms (S)
Syns- weekend wine TGIF! 😁

I did my sw zoom this morning- I wasn’t impressed as I lost the sound part way through and it took me ages to sort it out. I was impressed I managed to do it though as I’m a bit of a technophobe. My weigh day is tomorrow and I’m expecting a gain. I’ve had some really good days but I won’t mention the rest.....I’m all over the place atm 😒There was talk about straining the 5 % mince which didn’t go down well at all. I did like the idea of filling the ‘first 6 week’ booklet in - I need to get back to tracking - I’m doing it on here on a good day but need to get a grip again.
I’ve just been to Sainsbobs as I wanted some pjs for the gks for Easter with their eggs. I bought 3 tops for me £12 each......the ones I’ve seen on line were nearer £40 which I refuse to pay for a t shirt 😳 - I was hoping they would be long enough and flared enough to cover my tummy without showing things. They are slightly tighter than I’d have wanted but that’s more to do with my fat than my stoma. So I’m not taking them back - that’s my incentive 😏 I want to be able to wear summer tops that look ok......might not be my 1st choice since my op but I need to get rid of the love handles and they’d look a lot better 😂
Tomorrow will be a good day 😀January spends - £587.580
