    Afternoon all

    Well done Denise 😁

I went on zoom last night, i have come to the conclusion consultants are brainwashed 🤣 i also said where is everyone posting now as no one posts on the fb page? I full well knew where they are psoting as someone messaged me and told me. Oh oh she goes, email /WA i said well no one told me! she goes it's for those that do zoom, well as a target member (cough cough) you don't have to go every week!
I will message you she said, well she hasn't so far and if she don't she can do one!

She also said you have to drain 5% beef mince if you dry fry it 🙄 there is no fat to come out of it!
Anyhow, i forgot to post my tea last night, i had bubble & squeak and just had like a picky lunch just now, i got up late 😮 gone 9 but feel better for it

I have made curry for tea now going to do some jobs

You must have needed it bubbs to have a lay in - it catches up with you eventually when you have to get up early.  I was the same when I was working and having to get up at 5 every morning, every so often I'd have a long lie in but not very often.

Our FB page isn't very active either since my old consultant left.  There's still a few posts but not very many.  I don't think it helps that there's now 3 different consultants covering her groups.  No idea what will happen once RL groups happen again as one of them is local; the other 2 come from miles away within the county and can't see them travelling that far just to do one or two groups - well over 50 miles each way for both of them.

It says on the SW website now that you should drain your 5% mince - it's ridiculous when nothing comes out.

Your breakfast looks good.  Bet you enjoyed that more than what I had!

Yet more tweaking from SW! ☹️ I don't dry fry my mince. I only really use it for batch cooking in the SC and then I just bung it in along with everything else. I have occasionally skimmed some fat off when it's been cooled overnight but it's rare to see any.

We all know that using a syn bank isn't official policy but, just like the mince, it's worked for me for 10 years and I'm not changing now. It really doesn't fit with giving us extra fat in the second HEA. 🤔

I suppose it's all about having a get out clause if people don't lose. I know I don't follow the rules to the letter but that's my choice. If I'm desperate to get back into range I can cut back if I have to. I don't hold SW responsible if I don't lose. I blame the wine syns. 🤣

    Morning all,

I think it is a combination of impending star week and being back at work after a holiday that has derailed me slightly.

I had lasagne and salad last night for dinner, I usually have salad during the day but I actually enjoyed that last night.

    Breakfast – granola ss milk

    Lunch LO lasagne

So tonight im having the salad again, with ham and a baked potato.

@beanielou I do like denim drift! When I decorate the master bedroom it will be polished pebble very subtle but tempted to have a candy pink wall or something like denim drift.

No sweets and a longer walk tonight, I had a short walk out this morning to stretch the legs but was at work early so was just a quick one.

When I have Bolognese it is with whatever pasta going, at the moment spirelli

I just love the denim drift

Thanks for that bubbs. Shallots are smaller than onions and a bit sweeter. They're generally cooked whole rather than sliced/chopped. If I want my beef in red wine for a 'posh' meal then I use shallots because they look nicer than broken up, quartered onions. Much more fiddly though. 😉

I use mats instead of a tablecloth. It would be impossible to find one to hang right on my dining table anyway as it's octagonal. Well done on MrB not spilling his dinner though. 🤣

I didn’t  get it when my consultant told me to throw the stock from my chicken away and use stock cubes 😲😲😲.......Not.A..Chance......I skim every bit of fat off and use kitchen roll to clear it completely. It’s full of goodness and flavour. I for 1 will not be draining 5% mince. I thought she was going to hyperventilate when I told her I use gammon stock for minestrone.....again completely drained of any grease so that it’s completely clear liquid. Mind you she doesn’t cook and ping and dings anything her hubby doesn’t cook.
I was going to get another 12 week countdown but I have just been to B&Q which had a delivery of spring plants......I got a tad carried away. So I might justify it by using  my sw money BUT I quite like the website 🤔🤔🤔 (not that I have to justify anything, but I’m not convinced I’m getting my monies worth sw wise)
