It's extremely unusual for waterbeds to leak ruby. Ours was nearly 30 years old and that's the first leak we've ever had so suspect it was probably a bit of perished rubber although we couldn't find where it had actually leaked from! The only reason we knew we'd sprung a leak was because I woke up in the early hours of the morning and as I went to get out of bed the sheet was a bit damp! By the time I got back after going to the loo it was a bit wetter.
Have to say we've never regretted buying the waterbed even though it was very expensive when we bought it all those years ago I think we would have spent far more over the years if we'd had normal beds with mattresses!

Hope you're both resting up bubbs. 😊
The bedroom photo was from the Sunday supplement where I read about the chintz and wallpaper. Apparently it's the style that the PM's girlfriend chose for the Downing Street flat. 🤔
Sorry to hear you've been derailed klew and milann . Do you know why it happened? All you can do is draw that line and move on but it helps to know triggers. Have you SW friendly snacks available? I find the longer I do SW the less likely I am to go off plan. I think it really does get easier. 😊
Fortunately we're having a freezer meal tomorrow as the cupboard is looking quite bare. I think it's probably because I shopped on a Thursday for the past two weeks because of other commitments. I'll need to be careful with my meal plan this week to be sure I buy everything I need.2 -
I use a lot of meals from the freezer on my menu plan each month. That's where I start when I do my monthly plan - I have a list of what is in the freezer and try to slot as many as I can into the plan. When I do the April plan next week I'm going to be having to think about things I can use when we go away in the motorhome - assuming of course everything is opening up on 12 April as per the roadmap! Even if we can't get to go away I can still make use of what's in the freezer.
DH has booked to play golf Monday afternoon and Tuesday morning so I'll try to get the plan done while he's out - I find it easier to do when he's not around! I've decided not to rejoin the Golf Club this year as I wasn't really enjoying it, apart from the exercise and last time when I was a member that was a lot of emphasis on playing in competitions and I'm really not a competitive person so I always felt pressurised so this year I'm just going to be a social member, so then I can just use the bar and restaurant, once they manage to find a new catering company! The last one's contract came to an end during the first lockdown and decided not to continue. Shame really because they used to do good meals at a reasonable price.

Denise. I am lucky now living on my own!
I have just had my bedroom painted.
A denim drift on the top & a lilac on the bottom.
One of my spare rooms was painted at the end of last year & I love it.
It is a pale blue on 3 walls & a very slightly darker blue on one wall.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters. milann said:Well done with the loss Beanie. I’ve had a few good days but thrown it out of the water today by eating everything in site and everything out of site too 😲 Don’t know what gets into me. Line drawn tea will be a chicken stew with leeks, carrot and onion and new potatoes 😏

I keep mostly meat, fish and frozen veg in my freezer denise plus batch cooked Bolognese, chilli and savoury mince. So when I do my meal plan each week, it's a case of what shall I cook from the ingredients I've got in the freezer and make sure I use up any fresh stuff. I always put Bolognese down for one meal because it can stay there if we eat out. Unfortunately that's not happening just now. When I make meals it's usually a recipe for 4 with meat for 2. We have one greedy meal then I have the leftovers for lunch. 😋1

Most of my ready meals are where I've cooked for 4 so there's another meal for both of us. If there's not enough for a meal then we'll usually have it the following day for lunch - like we did with the Diet Coke chicken today; I'd actually only made enough, supposedly, for 2 but there was definitely too much for one meal with the mixed rice.
We rarely eat bolognaise! Neither of us is particularly keen on it, probably doesn't help that I don't really like spaghetti, LOL!
