Morning all, a bit grey this morning but no washing to do, not forecast to rain so hopefully it'll brighten up later so we can sit in the garden again this afternoon.  More wallpaper stripping today, managed to get one wall done without having to move too much furniture and took the opportunity to get the curtains washed and dried and put away and put up another set.  Also need to go shopping at some stage today.

Well done beanie on your loss, you'll get there.  I think most of us tend to lose slowly but your 1.5lb is the most I ever lost in one week and I was absolutely over the moon with that!

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs & spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - LO vegetable and pearl barley casserole - S; F
    D - Diet Coke chicken, rice - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

    Have a good day everyone.

Morning everyone!  I hate stripping wallpaper denise so don't envy you - we had about 4 layers in our bedroom when we moved in and the bottom one was lovely and textured 😳  We still have half a wall to strip in the spare room, but its hidden behind the spare bed so I'm not in too much of a rush to get it done 😂

Thanks for all the good vibes on this week's loss - I'm definitely feeling better in myself, even if my larger size jeans are still a bit tight, I feel more comfortable in general.  Feeling a bit bloated today so off to prepare a vat of peppermint tea before my first call of the day.

Hope everyone has a good day!

Can't say I enjoy it either ruby!  The worst part for me is picking up the sticky paper from the floor!  So far, from one wall there's almost a black bin bag gone in the bin!  We've got textured wallpaper too which has been painted and there's at least 4 different colour paints plus another layer of paper which has been stuck onto red painted walls - I certainly wouldn't want red walls in my bedroom but that's mainly what the wall I've stripped is left with.  I had to get DH to do the very top of the walls as I couldn't reach from a chair and I don't like ladders.

Glad you're feeling better in yourself; I think that is the most important thing.

    Hi everyone,
Bit cloudy here but dry. Will get out for a dog walk at lunchtime.
The reason I'm doing the running is to build my muscle strength and stamina for the walk. I wouldn't say I'm super fit - maybe a bit bonkers lol!
Well done on the loss beanie - I would be very happy with that!
Had a change to food plan yesterday and used up the sweet potato, red onion, and corn cobs for lunch.
    Food today:
    B - weetabix, skimmed milk, banana - HEXB/HEXA1
L - tuna, pasta, 1tbsp light mayo, lettuce leaves, tomatoes, pickles - 2 syns
D - moules frites - I will make SW chips for mine - 5 syns
Snacks - apple, satsumas, benefit bar - 3 syns
Total syns planned - 10 - gosh that's loads for me!
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

    Morning all,

Dull and grey here too, def colder. Didn’t get my 15k steps in yesterday annoyed so need to walk further tonight to make up for it. I also am not a fan of decorating, the next room on my hit list is the master bedroom. I will be getting someone else in to strip it and then it will be replastered while I am at work, luckily have trusted tradesmen that are also friends so can get away with that.

Breakfast – fruit and fibre – ss milk

Lunch – salad again, leaves, cucumber, celery, spring onion, pickled onion, red pepper, boiled egg and chicken today.

Dinner – lasagne using pasta, with leftover veg from last night

Coxy - are the syns in the moules for wine and/or cream because mussels are a Free Protein food?  I only eat mussels when we go to France as the ones locally seem to have quite a lot of dead ones in the nets - the last time I bought mussels out of the Kg I bought I had to throw away 600g - 400g doesn't go very far between 2 of us!

I think the paper stripping is the worst part of decorating, doesn't help having to keep moving furniture to get behind things - we haven't got anywhere we can actually move stuff to as the other rooms just don't have enough room in them for extra furniture unfortunately.  Dreading trying to do behind the wardrobes and the water bed - think we'll probably need to empty to be able to move it.

Hi denise I'm cooking 3 x 450g packs from A!di (for 5 of us) with the wine and cream - it's 1.5 syns for 100g, so I'll measure 250g out for me. Granted that includes the shell. Family will have oven french fries and crusty bread, I will have SW chips with mine. Do you think I should count more syns?
Can sympathise with the paper stripping - painted chip paper is the absolute worst - DS1 has this in one of the bedrooms of his new place :( Beyond awful to remove.

If it's 1.5 syns for 100g then 250g works out at 4 syns - I doubt they'll be many actual mussels in that 250g!  DH and I always have 500g each but we usually have crusty bread with it to mop up the juices; we also only use the wine and don't bother with the cream!

    Enjoy!
