Morning all, another lovely day today but definitely a bit colder. No washing to do today but will need to go to Mr Ts for some stuff I couldn't get in The Food Warehouse or Lidl on Tuesday.
Forgot to say, I weighed this morning and have lost 0.5lb! Had hoped for more but at least it's a loss.
Today's plan (an accidental SP day!):
B - overnight oats - HEB; P; S
L - mushroom, spring onion & pepper omelette - P; S
D - fish pie with celeriac and butterbean top; roasted butternut squash, roasted carrots - P; S; 2
HEA - milk
HEB - oats
Syns - 1/4 pack cheese sauce mix 2; couple of rum & ginger beer or G&Ts 5 or 6 depending which I have
Have a good day everyone.

Morning all,
I think it is a combination of impending star week and being back at work after a holiday that has derailed me slightly.
I had lasagne and salad last night for dinner, I usually have salad during the day but I actually enjoyed that last night.
Breakfast – granola ss milk
Lunch LO lasagne
So tonight im having the salad again, with ham and a baked potato.
@beanielou I do like denim drift! When I decorate the master bedroom it will be polished pebble very subtle but tempted to have a candy pink wall or something like denim drift.
No sweets and a longer walk tonight, I had a short walk out this morning to stretch the legs but was at work early so was just a quick one.
When I have Bolognese it is with whatever pasta going, at the moment spirelli

Good morning,
Lovely and bright here this morning. I had a bad nights' sleep - saw every hour on the clockQuiz night went well - have done them before but this time there were more participants and some friends of friends (who I didn't know), so I felt quite pressured to pitch the questions at the right level. I also added in playing music (guess the intro) down my mic which was quite challenging...
Two rums were consumed in the process, £100 raised
Well done on your loss denise
Food today will be:
B - Weetabix, skimmed milk - HEXB/HEXA1
L - Leek and potato soup - 2.5 (contains cream)
D - Mexican mince, salad leaves - HEXA2 (for cheese)
Snacks - Benefit bar, apple, banana, grapes - 3 syns
Total syns planned - 5
Have a great day everyone,

Morning all! Well done on the loss denise, every little bit helps as they say.
Beanie - the curry was really simple: chop a cauliflower into florets, toss with a tspn of cumin and a drizzle of oil / frylite and roast in the oven for 20-25 minutes at 200 or gas mark 6. While that's cooking, chop and onion, mince a couple of cloves of garlic and grate some ginger (or just use the pre-done stuff like me!). Fry the onion till soft, then add the garlic and ginger for a minute or two, followed by 1/2 tspn turmeric and 1 tbspn of curry powder (I used Korma because I had it in the cupboard). The recipe then calls for 50g of creamed coconut and 250ml of vegetable stock, but you could just use 250ml of light coconut milk instead, and chuck it in with your onion spice mixture. Cook until it thickens slightly and then you throw in the cauliflower. I also added in some frozen chopped spinach and served it with some rice. Went down really well with DH so that's good.
Arm is really hurting this morning - didn't get much sleep because I usually sleep on my left but that was impossible last night. Apart from that I'm not feeling too bad and very thankful I've been able to have the vaccine at all! Not feeling too hungry this morning but will be having some lentil soup for lunch and macaroni cheese for dinner because I need all the comfort food at the moment 😂

It's a loss denise. Good for you!👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Good feeling to fill the syn bank again today.
And well done on the £100 raised coxy. 😊
It sounds like you have a worse reaction to this second vaccine than the first time ruby. Do you know if that's usual? 🤔 Hope you feel better soon and get a good night's sleep tonight. 😊
Well done for getting back on track klew. I rarely have a proper salad including leaves but I enjoyed it last month when I made lasagne for our Valentines meal. The pasta comments are interesting as generally I only buy tagliatelle and spaghetti but I did have some lasagne sheets in the cupboard. They were very out of date but we suffered no ill effects. 🤣 I'll make the lasagne again as making the cheese sauce isn't so synful now we have an extra HEA.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash (F), kippers (P), HEB toast, HEA1 milk
L- LO hash (P,S,F), fried egg (P), pickles (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), tagliatelle (F), HEA2 Parmesan
Syns- kippers 1.5
2 -
Ooh kippers maman - you've made me want some now!
Slight change of plan for today as had one of the A!di museli and spelt crispbreads with my lunch. They are 5 syns each(!) so will forego the benefit bar later - total syns planned for today now 7.5.
It's weigh day tomorrow so need to be extra good today
Hope you feel better soon ruby x

I’ve just googled denim drift - very nice 👍
I had my chicken stew with new potatoes last night and it was so tasty. I did a cheese cobbler on top for dh and had a little bit. No idea how many syns in it but after what I’d consumed yesterday morning it wasn’t that many.
Breakfast today - heb toast with beans and tomato
dinner - tuna pasta salad and hummus 3 syns
tea - left over stew and potatoes minus the cobbler
syns - hi fi bar
i need to do a bit of damage limitation. Going for a walk along the canal this afternoon 👍January spends - £587.581 -
Definitely good to be refilling the syn bank maman! I used all my syns last week, I may even have been a few over but don't think so.
I looked up the Denim Drift too - lovely colour but wouldn't go with the blinds I'm planning on getting! Might use something like that when I redecorate my workroom but that won't be for a while yet as only did that a couple of years ago!
Have got someone coming shortly to give us a quote for replacing some of our windows. We did the back of the bungalow when we moved in as they were only single glazed but not the front because they'd already been done so thought it probably about time we replaced those too! Just hope it's not more than I'm expecting - if it is then it might be a bit longer before we can get them done so I can save a bit more as would rather not dip into DH's pension pot.
