Another one never tried goat here. Im not a lover of lamb though as I always think it smells like the lambing sheds so puts me off

Had a really lovely walk with a friend last night I think it would have been around the 4 mile mark. Wish it was so easy to be motivated walking when you are by yourself as the route I planned involved some steep hills and sometimes I will talk myself out of quite so many hills and take an easier option.

     Today: granola and milk

Lunch – pot noodle ( last day at work before a week off so on the move to get everything done)

Dinner – all the left over salad, baked potato, cheese, tuna on the side.

Keeping fingers crossed for a stay the same – I don’t feel like I have done as well this week but you never know!

The weekend will, again, involve lots of walking!

Thanks for the good wishes. 😊

Well done on your loss coxy. Next stone bracket is definitely doable by Easter. 😉

It's bright and dry here but blowy. We just got back from  lunchtime picnic and thoroughly enjoyed it. Lots of M&S goodies that I normally only buy for holiday journeys or flights (Remember those?). We had a good walk first then sat eating and watching the boats and seagulls (they didn't get much from me😉).

I decided I ought to make a bit of an effort as while I might be a year older I don't have to feel it or look it. I put my favourite black, skinny jeans on to go out and they fit perfectly. I seem to have lived in leggings for months so it was quite a NSV. 😁

I had heaps of syns and not finished yet as going to have an off plan dinner too. What matters is that I'm enjoying them and will get back on plan tomorrow.

Glad it stayed dry for your picnic!  Thought you might have had to have an indoor one.

Great NSV getting into skinny jeans after all this time.  I've still been wearing mine although not all the time; probably half the time in jeans and half in leggings.  It's definitely leggings day when I get weighed now!

Enjoy your off plan dinner and your weekend wine.  We've decided on wine tonight instead of rum so will be more syns but will pull back next week.

I think it does.  It seems to have ruined some of my pans.  I've just bought some new pans and fortunately they don't need oil to use them but when I'm cooking onions, for example, I add a little water and cover them rather than using any oil.

When I need to use oil I use a SM own brand one and use just a couple of sprays and then spread round with a piece of kitchen roll.  Seems to work but I try to avoid as much as possible.

I still use Frylight on my old baking sheets for chips and roasting pan for potatoes but only because the pans are already ruined!

I've heard they can ruin those ceramic frying pans but I haven't had a problem with my bog standard Tefal non stick.

I always soften my onions first in the microwave with a splash of water so they don't take long to fry. I do my chips on one of those mesh trays, straight on to the oven shelf.

Just waiting for the fish and chip supper. At least the mushy peas will be free. 🤣

It's a strange birthday but thanks everyone for the good wishes. I'm having a good day. 😁

I got a new really good frying pan not that long ago & I am convinced it is not doing it any good as I cant afford to waste money.
