Have just spent about an hour making a huge goat curry which is currently slow cooking in the oven. Going to check it after 3 hours and see how done it is. Hoping to get at least 10-12 portions from it so enough for 5-6 meals for both of us. Have added some extra veg in the form of courgette and aubergine as well as the usual onions, garlic, chilli and tomatoes. Also put some dried mushrooms into it. Just hoping I've put enough curry powder and garam masala in it.
Just sitting down with a cuppa now before having to go and cook dinner for tonight.

That looks a well balanced lunch coxy. 😊
I remember when I first started SW you could have 3 slices of the WW Danish loaf for a HEB. It wasn't very substantial but OK toasted. Do you prefer Nimble to 'normal' bread?🤔
Hope you're feeling a bit better ruby. It's not been too bad a day here but the wind has whipped up in the last hour with heavy showers with it. Tomorrow sounds similar so I should be OK to get out for a while.
It should be easy enough to add extra spices if you don't think the curry is hot enough denise. You mist have made a monster sized pot of it. 😁
I decided to get my shopping done today so that I can have a clear day tomorrow. It felt strange to be in Aldi when it's so much quieter than a Friday.
Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, HEB toast, HEA1 milk, fried eggs (P), tomatoes and mushrooms (S)
L- ham (P), bubble & squeak (S,F), beetroot (S)
D- SW Bolognese (P,S), tagliatelle (F), HEA2 Parmesan

maman - It's a huge cast iron casserole dish! It's the one that fits on our charcoal BBQ. It's so heavy I can only just lift it when it's empty so once it's got food in it DH has to move it from the hob to the oven and then out of the oven back onto the hob when it's done - also when I just want to check it!
I didn't get to Morries today so I bought a loaf of Nevilles wholemeal to tide me over; I don't like it as much as the Morries one but as I was shopping in Mr Ts anyway it made sense.

Evening all
Been really windy here too but if i could have got motivated and done some washing if i could have kept it on the line it would have dried!
We had a heavy shower when i picked dh up but been fine since.
I had to take my car to the garage this morning as i had a slow puncture, luckily they were able to fix it so was only £15 which i was pleased about as it's a good tyre as that's the one i had replaced last May/June when i had a puncture!

Sounds like you enjoyed your tea bubbs. 😋😁
I was in Aldi today. I bought courgettes and spring onions from the Super 6. They had limes in my store and I bought mange tout. I'd have bought the potatoes too but didn't need any.1 -
The curry is out of the oven! I had a little taste of the sauce and boy, was it hot! Think I put too much chilli, curry powder and garam masala in it. Will probably have to make a raita or something to go with it when we eat it.
It has cooked down massively and think I'll be lucky to get 6-8 portions out of it - will find out tomorrow when I portion it up.
Those sausage tarts definitely look nice but don't think DH would eat them because he's not keen on the rosemary and red onion sausages so I'd have to make 2 lots because he'd want ones made with butcher's sausages!
