    Morning all,

An accidental piece of toast with cheese spread may have passed my lips last night oops. Im hoping I burnt some extra calories as I did some 4.5 miles last night, ended up with the trainers in the wash as I underestimated how boggy a section would be, another oops!

    Today: granola and milk

Lunch: chicken, pea shoots, spring onion, sweetcorn, celery, pickled onions and grated cheese.

Dinner : SW Bolognese and pasta

Trying to go easy on the syns today after toastgate yesterday

There's not much exciting in life at the moment though is there?  It's definitely something to look forward to.  Just need to find something for end July/August now.  Couldn't afford to do it if we didn't have the motorhome and belong to the Camping and Caravan Club who run much cheaper Temporary Holiday Sites - the actual Club sites are dearer but still cheaper than a lot of the private sites because they don't tend to have bars, clubs, restaurants and swimming pools!

The wind is definitely up this morning but it's still dry so far but rain is forecast for most of the day.  Don't think we'll be able to sit out in the garden today!

    Today's plan:

    B - breakfast hash - sausages, onions, mushrooms, tinned potatoes; topped with eggs - P; S; F; 2
    L - burger & onions in WM Roll - HEB; S; 0.5
    D - steak, chips, mushrooms, onions, tomatoes - P; S; F

    HEA - milk
    HEB - wholemeal roll
    Syns - sausages 2; burger 0.5

Should come in under syns this week so hopefully a loss tomorrow morning!

Have a good day everyone and keep safe.

    Hi everyone,
That's a good distance you walked klew - I'm sure the toast was much needed after that ;)
Good to have the short breaks booked in denise and fingers crossed for France for later in the year.
I've just dropped the car at the dealership as something came up on the service a few weeks back. Got a courtesy car - flipping great estate car AND automatic AND brand new. Driving back through country lanes, my nerves were shredded lol! Got to do it all again later...

    Food today:
B - banana, WM toast, egg, spinach
L - cottage cheese, ham, salad leaves, tomatoes, pickles
D - cowboy hotpot, broccoli, green beans
Snacks - apple, satsumas, grapes, benefit bar 3
    Total syns planned - 3
    Have a good day everyone,
    Coxy

I felt exactly the same Coxy when someone ran into the back of our car and we had a courtesy car!  I really didn't like driving it as I was terrified something would happen.  Fortunately I only drove it a couple of times but I absolutely hated it - the excess was also much higher than our own insurance - think it was something like £400 rather than the £200 we have on our own insurance.

Morning all!  I had the same experience coxy and denise when my car was written off - I was told the courtesy car would be a match for my little polo and instead ended up with a people carrier for a week 😨!  Remember driving very slowly round a carpark in town trying to find a space that I could actually get it in, must have taken about half an hour 😂  Oh and the second day I had it, it started snowing while I was at work - think that was the longest journey home I've ever had!

Had a really busy day with lots of presentations for work yesterday so didn't have time to check in - did get good feedback on my work though so it was worth it I think.  Had some weetabix for breakfast and then a picky salad lunch (cucumber, carrot, tomatoes, ham) as I didn't really get a chance for a proper break, followed by mushroom risotto for dinner.  Today I've had weetabix again for breakfast, lunch may be the same as yesterday as it's easy and then dinner is quorn swedish style meatballs with mashed potato and broccoli.

Hope everyone has a good day.

How on earth to do you eat that bubbs?  There's no way to pick that up and eat it - surely you just have to deconstruct it to eat it so might as well just put it on the plate!

Fingers crossed! I’m on holiday next week so id like to do 2 walks a day. Mix up the diet a bit and have a big batch of lentil soup ready if I am feeling peckish. The plan, as there is not much else to do. Is to walk in the mornings, race in the afternoons then after racing do another walk. Try and keep active. And not eat rubbish! So the food shop will be different this week so I don’t snack on things I shouldn’t be.
