That does sound tasty coxy. Roasted veg is good in a pasta salad. If you want to 'wet' it a bit just add some tomato puree and a tiny splash of water or mayo if you want to use syns.Β

I'm putting gammon steak on the menu bubbs. I'm sure yours was delicious when you found it under the heap of vegetables. 🀣

Morning all. Β Lovely day today and final load of washing for this week just spinning. Β Will get onto the line shortly.

Love roasted vegΒ coxy but never think to do it apart from when I'm doing a Sunday roast. Β Maybe I should just do a tray and keep it in the fridge as I love picking at it cold, especially peppers.

Saved a couple of syns yesterday as didn't have the Ryvita and brie in the evening.

Need to do some shopping today. Β Going to the shops in the next town so will go to Lidl and top up at Asda with anything I can't get.

    Today's plan:

    B - scrambled eggs and spinach on toast - HEB; P; S
    L - !!!!!!-a-leekie soup - P; S; F
D - sweet and sour pork; rice - P; S; F (using LO roast pork and fresh pineapple to keep it Syn Free)

    HEA - milk
    HEB - bread
    Syns - none planned

Have a good day everyone and keep safe.

    Morning all,

@maman im the same with Bolognese I love it packed with veg, it is definitely now more veg/meat 65/35! That’s being made on Wednesday night.

I had the sweet n sour last night with a portion of rice and red cabbage and turnip on the side which sounds totally random but I hate waste and it was leftover from Sunday.

Longer walk tonight then LO sweet and sour, with the rice there will be some spring greens tonight I think or peas.

I hate a late night freddo whilst watching meghan and harry last night, forgetting I had one earlier in the day. I don’t think there will be much damage but you never know!

    Good morning,
The sun is shining here but still a bit chilly. Managed a 5k run this morning in a good time (for me) of 32:09 - whoohoooooo!
    Food today will be:
B - fresh pineapple, puffed wheat, skimmed milk - HEXB/HEXA1
    L - roasted veg - S
    D - chilli con carne and rice - P, S
Snacks - apple, grapes, satsumas, Benefit bar 3 syns
    Total syns planned - 3
Need to pop to MrTs for kidney beans and cottage cheese later - bit random :)
    Have a good day all,
    Coxy

It's good to keep track klew. Hopefully that Freddo won't do any damage but I think it helps if we remember exactly what's passed our lips. As well as posting on here I keep a paper journal with my syn bank on it.

I hate waste too which is why loads  of my lunches are from leftovers. 😁 Mostly it's deliberate though as I cook recipes for 4 (with meat for 2), then we have greedy portions and I have some left for me. I did 8 sides of veg  as well as potatoes on Sunday but the LO give me the basis of  two days of lunches.

    Today's EE plan-
B- NAS grapefruit squash, skinny syrup, banana (F), HEB porridge, HEA milk, raspberries (S)
L- ham (P), LO veg and pickles (S)
D- veggie chilli (P,S), brown rice (F), cottage cheese (P)
    Syns- 0

I had a really good day yesterday and totally blew things today.....its like a switch just flipped. Ahhhh well. Line drawn and tea will be stew which is in the slow cooker and smelling delicious.....beef, potato, carrots, onion and swede served with pickled red cabbage and beetroot. I’m so annoyed with myself as I’d planned just what I was going to eat then hit the biscuits and hot cross buns......it is what it is.Β

milann well done of just drawing the line and getting back on plan. Β It's the best thing you can do.

    bubbsΒ
Might not be a balanced healthy day eating wise but it sounds as though it's still on plan - only syns for the little yorkie, everything Speed so all good.

Been a lovely day here too, even sat out in the garden with a cuppa this morning and again this afternoon. Β Forecast not so good from tomorrow onwards though!

Have booked a holiday on the Isle of Wight for the beginning of June with the motorhome. Β Have already booked 3 weeks in Norfolk, Lincoln and Cambridgeshire during June and, if we're allowed, we're booked to go to France in September. Β It's good to have something to look forward to.
