Yesterday was NSD No 23
Didn't get much done if truth be told. Still feeling a bit ropey. Have to try to make up for it today. Himself is lovely but housekeeping is not one of his strong points. Kitchen looks like it's been hit by a bomb!! still, in the scheme of things an untidy kitchen isn't that important, is it?
Have a good day,Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.9 -
Thanks Idee2111, put my big girl pants on today and stopped stressing. Dry here so will spend my afternoon off having a walk.Good luck DrCarrie with new job.Filtered money into my savings account today. Taken £100 cash out for electrician no idea how much he will charge for fitting cooker hood.Probably do a food shop for the weekend, no idea if the tiler will show up? If not can spend some time feeding the grandkids and chilling out. NSD will remain on 12.Grateful forFootball made me smile yesterdayI can see tiny bit of sunshine out my office window.MusicMothernerd and apple running these challenges.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226

Hugs to calling and any other turtles who need them. Good luck for monday Dr carrie.
Managed 10 min meditation yesterday eve before falling asleep haha. Gym also yesterday. Legs are sore today so will have a rest day. Made soup for dinner and during a lapse of concentration somehow the blender button got pressed when the lid was off, having the effect of covering myself and most of the kitchen in butternut squash...I saw the funny side as I didn’t waste much of the soup. BF didn’t. Mess makes him nervous along with the fact he doesn’t trust me to do a good job of cleaning it up.
Feel very tired and drinking far too much coffee. I have to say I don't feel great despite exercising, eating well and not boozing. Last time I did dry Jan I felt amazing, so I'm not sure why this time is different.... I am doing well with NSDs this week (for me anyway) maybe I am on 13 now. Tomorrow won’t be I'm sure.
Grateful for.....having a job and for electric heaters.

Afternoon all. Am up to 19 NSD's, so close to my target! Today wasn't a NSD however, I had my back procedure done so have added £1,000 to my debt
annoying but I spoke to the NHS consultant earlier this week and he said there's literally no timescale with everything going on so in a way I'm glad I've paid for it, I can focus on recovery during lockdown and get it cleared ASAP. Also spent on a new humidifier as mine broke (sent back for a refund as only got it in December!), and bought OH a coffee as he drove me to the hospital for my appointment.
Going to have a chippy tea later as not feeling great right now so don't want to cook. Shopping delivery is coming (more mini egg chocolate bar, can't wait).
Grateful for chocolate, chips later, and OF COURSE getting some long term treatment for my back.9 -
Wishing you a speedy recovery lcc - your back has been an issue for along time - good to get it sorted and show it who's boss!NST March lion #8; NSD ; MFW9/3/23 Whoop Whoop!!!6

Carrie – Good luck for your new job.
Calling and Toni – Sending you both hugs.
Mothernerd – Glad that CBT helped you. Am on the waiting list and asked for the online version of CBT, as I am hoping it will work better around when I have temp work.
Was a spend day. Got weekly bus pass, tv mag and lavender temple balm.
Grateful for:
Getting some free slices of pizza again in work.
Saving money on the lavender temple balm. Planning to use it before I go to bed.
Having a laugh in work.

Today I am grateful for dd doing school, for getting out for a walk, for a worthwhile union meeting, for choices, for croci splashing some colour around, for the luxury of a hot morning bath, for good coffee, for free yoga on utube.

Thursday- NSD 18.
Yesterday I bought bread, so a very low spend day. Pay day today and money left over! Am going to transfer some to savings, but I start new budgets on the 1st so will wait until Sunday night before I do anything too drastic!
Grateful today for- leftovers for tea, a hint of snow (but not enough to cause traffic chaos), budgets that have worked.7 -
O so I am on here to confess a case of extreme procrastination - I have had some marking sitting all month and I have just avoided to do it, and I have wasted so much time not doing it, I still feel my brain is broken. In one self help book I have looked at it states that laziness is fear, fear of what? This is an ongoing problem, and it is breaking me! I really am trying to understand what is going on, but well that might be a case of investigation for February.
The other dilemma I am pondering is if it is legal for me to drive uni son to train station so he can go back to (empty) uni house for a week, he wants to go and work in the library - as opposed to 'spare room' size room here. I would drive him 45 min, and he would then take train for about an hour? It's a 4-5 hour return drive, so I would rather not do that?
We are observing lockdown very closely, and I don't want to risk getting a fine - but I do believe it is permitted to travel for education, if you don't have the resources you need - and for mental health(or at least wellbeing)!
Apart from that I am grateful for it being Friday and will plan to have very little screen time this weekend, as clearly need a holiday. I do want to do some - book - reading.Isa help to buy: 1000/3000 33%
