NSD No 25 yesterday.
I can't believe it's nearly the end of January already. I don't think I've achieved an awful lot this month. I don't think the weather helped but I really must get myself going and start getting things done.
So this morning I've done a few things including finalising the Tesco order and making a curry for the Boy. I say making but really I just threw everything in the slow cooker.
facethemusic - Think that's going to be my personal challenge next month as well.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -

Saturday- still on NSD 18 so I won't manage to hit 20 this month! But food shop for the week ahead done. Hopefully a NSD tomorrow.
Some interest in a "big" (its large but not worth much) item I have on g*mtr**, hopefully it will shift this week and that will make a space in my hallway.
Not much else happening- ground is frozen again so pony related fun is reduced again.
DD had her eyes tested this morning, very efficient, lovely optician and no glasses required.
Grateful today- for efficient staff providing a service, for DD happily discussing /helping me write this weeks meal plan so hopefully she will happily eat what's on it!

NSD number 21 here. Not much to report, just pottered about the house, have cooked a yummy soup and also managed to walk around the block twice. Back is holding up pretty good lol.7

Today I am grateful for getting out for a run first thing, for a crafternoon z00m with friends, for dd's dance classes going so well, for Jessica Fletcher straightening out all those pesky murders, for my jigsaw being challenging but doable.

Got our usual big grocery delivery today so not a NSD. Still on 11/15. Should get a final one in tomorrow.
Made mushroom soup from the 0lio pickup. It is very tasty. I was surprised at how well it turned out. Not added any cream or milk yet but I may do when reheating with whatever I’ve got at the time.
Met a friend for a walk today with our little DSs. Felt good to just see a friend, chat, and be a Tyrannosaurus rex.
Grateful to have spent time with my friend and her DS, a fun day outdoors, and OH making his delicious fakeaway Indian curry, garlic naan bread, and spiced onions.

I have spent money - did a small online shop. Eating up lots of bits from the fridge or in the corners of the freezer, keep remembering bits I put away in November and December. Accompanied by a large salad of course. Mum only wanted rice pudding at lunch so I had some of the bits (was going to do chicken, mash and assorted veg but will do that tomorrow). Not feeling great and found it hard to concentrate - couldn't read or do simple games on the laptop. Looked up some recipes but just made myself hungry and will have to go back for some of the details. Tried to sort out some patterns but again spent more time looking than doing. Not sure if the canvas is too fine (20 or 22 holes to the inch) or just poor lighting.
Quite late on in the afternoon I started to work on my Florentine embroidered hearts (using an odd shaped leftover of tapestry canvas and my box of use up threads). I did several heart outlines (5 or 6) over the course of a couple of evenings and am now working on the fourth (filling in). Have had to leave one because there isn't enough light to see the colours clearly enough - i don't want to have to undo it because I've put a row of pink in the middle of a sequence of peach colours.
Today I am grateful for finding some of the things I was looking for (even if they aren't all pinned down or exactly where I want them), for my bed and being able to rest (have a list of tasks to do without having to leave the room) and for a visit from mummy of twins twin with all five of their offspring (thought of several things they could have taken away with them, after they had gone). They all stayed outside the padlocked gate (especially daft dog).My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage7
