Good evening,
Home from parents, and having a nice evening in relaxing. Clocked up another NSD today, though bought a few bits Saturday. February budget being re-examined (I think I have a budget addiction!) but happy I've got it covered. Have only set myself £5/day (£140 total) for Feb groceries and spends, but have money I can pull from elsewhere if that proves to be too restrictive. Thanks Apple for this months challenge even if I was absent for a lot of it!!! I am always grateful for it being here to check back into. Now - will I be first to pinch, punch tomorrow??? <sets alarm for 00:01 haha> x

Sorry I mostly bailed on this month, work has just been manic, I dread to think how much overtime I've racked up. No idea how many NSDs I got but have got to the end of the month with money spare

A final farewell to January. See you all in February - my 4th month since discovering NSTs!
Grateful for coming across this thread, a relaxed Sunday, call with DS’s grandparents, a tasty lunch, card games, and watching the Lion King 🦁NST 🐢 & MF before 40 🤸8 -
Thank you AppleMuncher
I went to the tip today and got rid of 7 bags of garden rubbish. I have discovered that they take clothes donations and book donations. I have a lot of stuff still to go.
I have kept up my 30 minutes of activity each day and my French. I had 170 pounds left of which a 100 went to saving and 70 went to next month. I did spend today, meds for Rabbit, 18 pounds in Home bargains - I love that shop! and a fiver in the local shop as they sell decent bread (and cakes which I didn't need but still bought Hummph.) I am rubbish for keeping track of NSDs.
Big love to everyone XXX

Lots of sewing using a weirdly shaped piece of canvas and the box of use up threads. May have overdone it as my eyes are very tired. Cooked a roast dinner, chicken in black bean sauce for mum (mid week meals) and chicken and broccoli in oyster sauce for me and I have beef with chilli, garlic and ginger marinading in the fridge. Small food delivery arrived and dealt with.
Today I am grateful for this thread and all my fellow turtles, music (especially 60's) and good food.My mission in life is not only to survive, but to thrive and to do so with some Passion, some Compassion, some Humour and some Style.NST SEP No 1 No Debt No mortgage6 -
Well so glad January is over.Been a very sad weekend, 3 young fishermen not returned home despite searches from several RNLI lifeboat crews to a little town seems to affected everyone. Heartbreaking to families and friends.I recovered 2 more NSD's over the weekend but still only made 14/15 daysI managed to spend in total £160 on food which came as a shocker over the month, eating too many treats! My success few house jobs complete, new ktchen wall cupboard and cooker hood. Also managed to squirrel 1K into my savings pot.Not done enough exercise, I could blame the weather but not felt the urge to.Thanks apple for the challenge, made me wake up and ready to get fitter and more frugal in Feb.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/225

January is over! Thank goodness.
I did manage 15 NSD so I'm pretty pleased with that. January was a tough month, but I struggled through it and I made it out!Successes have to be that the plastering is done, and we've made a start on the painting. February will be the month of painting, I am sure!I've not hit the exercise goals I had set, but, I did manage to get outside most days so there's a positive to be had there.Looking forward to FebruaryFebruary Grocery Budget: £190.75/£350.00
