Thank you for all your kind wishes about our business venture. We've started receiving deliveries of stock today and should be able to start production next week (if I can figure out the main machine when it arrives!).
Today has been a NSD. I 'worked' from home but am struggling to get motivated at the moment so didn't actually get much done. Must try harder tomorrow. I haven't done well with my water consumption today (and daren't have any before bed!) but have had plenty of fruit and less snacks.
Today I'm grateful for:
The free food that we're still eating our way through. The DCs school providing excellent online resources.
DC3's naughty but infectious laugh.6 -
NSD today other than having to pay out bus fare to get to and from work so will count today as no 5. Grateful for surviving double shift at work, coffee, free food at work.Mortgage 26.4.25 - £108,500 1.8.25 - £106,362.86

Today will be NSD 6. I will be making the kids do their schoolwork and homework - we have a photo challenge for DS4 - but it is freezing rain here rather than the -3 crisp day yesterday- will do our best today and over the weekend.List written, just need to get my head down and steam my way through it.Grateful for: enough coffee to do until next month. A full fruit bowl. For having a plan. For not needing to go anywhere near a shop until Monday.Onward!4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

Good afternoon my turtle friends
I hope everyone is safe and well. I haven’t checked in for a couple of days. I had my first NSD only just yesterday which was terrible, but like someone else mentioned I think overall I have been quite good at not spending too much, it’s just that the shopping gets done in dribs and drabs. It should be more constant when we are both back to work .
It has snowed in Madrid for two days in a row and to my surprise it has settled! I had a lot of fun yesterday watching kids in the park build snowmen. bf says it hasn’t snowed in Madrid since 2009 so maybe it was the first time they’’d seen it. Had a very peaceful moment to myself in the park on the hill looking down at the blanket of white and listening to the snowflakes hitting my umbrella. I wasn’t thinking about anything apart from how beautiful it was and all seemed right with the world.
Have just been to the gym. Have also been reading regularly and speaking more to my family.
Was a bit slippery out today so bf and I decided to get some supplies and hunker down for the day.
Grateful for the house looking more homely with the addition of a couple of plants, for having lots of work finally, for a good book.
RAK, got some food for a homeless guy and will also donate to a food bank. I’m thinking of volunteering with a charity to volunteer with the elderly but I suppose it would be difficult to meet face to face currently. Will have a look at options. Will try to post more regularly. as I’ve been a bit lazy recently. Happy weekend everyone

So difficult to get and up out to work this week, dark icy mornings yuckNot joining dry Jan so it's a glass of wine for me tonight. The weekend is here and it gets warmer next week.LBM 13039 1.1.13 Now £0 Finally Debt FreeMortgage free Oct 2019:)EFund/savings £25000 10/11/226

NSD No 7. Well. I suppose if there is nowhere to go you don't spend money. Maybe look on that as a positive of sorts but it would be nice to get out and about. Needs must so just have to grin and bear it.
Budget done today and all looking well. Himself was saying that he's enjoying the food that I'm making from what we have. So I guess that's another positive.
Our local face book group had photos today of pub teams in the late 1970's featuring a few a my late brother. I sent copies to my brother in Canada and we've spent the afternoon reminiscing on line. Remembering people and situations. It was really very nice. Lots of online laughs.
Hope everything is well with you, Turtles. Hugs to everyone.
Have adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.7 -
