Heard heard nothing since I gave them bank and meter details. No D/D or emails. The YE direct debit should have gone out yesterday and also showing for the 25th January, but I did stop the D/D as there is enough in my account anyway.1

This didn't work for me: registering the account using your method seemed to be successful, but trying to log in to the new account simply returned me to the log-in screen repeatedly. I tried logging in by saying I'd forgotten the password and though I was given the option of resetting it, that didn't help either. SP just won't allow me to access the account.

Although I can get the app to load, I can still only see that the switch is underway, so I'm not much wiser on than you.

Just rang SP again. They tell me that YE has yet to supply my meter details, and this can only come from them. Should be another 7 to 10 days.Meanwhile the emergency tarrif created by Ofgen according to SP, is:
Scottish power OfGen Emergency tarrif Electricity Gas Standing Charge pence per day 21.76 23.33 Unit Rate pence per kWh 16.613 2.861 Exit Fees £ per fuel 0 0

It's been a month since I was asked for my details by SP, just e-mailed them to explain the delay, if I don't hear back within 48 hours I will be complaining to Ofgem. I'm sure this is just a ploy to keep YE ex customers on there higher tariff as long as possible, as soon as the switch is made I will be switching via the MSE site ASAP.0

So SP have either (a) already received this information from Yorkshire Energy (at least the Gas meter info in my case) OR (b) they are yet to retrieve this information from ECOES (Electricity Central Online Enquiry Service). AFAIK this MPAN e.g.
is retrieved automatically during the normal switch process (via the postal address I would have thought). Perhaps this process is changed during a SOLR switch but I doubt it. A more likely explanation is that the process of account creation with all the relevant details is taking longer than SP would like and blaming a now defunct previous supplier is an easy way to get out of any awkward questions from phoning customers.0
