Thanks MF
The bike shop opened back up today. They are fully booked until the weekend when they should be able to get my bike sorted. I've missed the bike so much!
Thanks @longway2go I've heard good things about Monz0 I might use them for my pots allocating
Today I went shopping for groceries. I picked up a combination of expensive items like small amounts of organic meat and free range chicken and non additive almond milk and YS veggies like 3 X 28p cauliflowers. I needed a few toiletry items too. Total spending £30.17 So, £157.00 of my budget remains.
I bought some clothes online in the sale. Great bargains but still expensive. This is from the clothing budget so doesn't affect the above total.
I have spent almost 25% of my budget in a few days. I'm going to try to live off what I have for the next 10 days. I will meal plan my shop and stuff I have already tomorrowIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

You will soon be cycling around.
Shopping spends look fine. The money saved buying YS contributes towards the organic.
There's still a decent budget left and it should last 🤗Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Thanks MF, although the jury is out whether 3 YS cauliflowers compensates for the more luxurious items. I will see how I go. Today is a NSD and planning no more spending until the weekend. If you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

I have roasted cauliflower, break the florets and spread out on a tray, spray with a bit of oil and top with herbs and pepper, roast until golden.
Cauliflower rice is good too 😊

I love finding ys rtc items, it doesn’t happen often here. 3 cauliflowers for 28p is absolutely bargainous 🤗 I just got a large family steak pie rtc from £4 to £1 in my local coop and it’s made my day 😆0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

I agree @Skint_yet_Again YS finds are surprisingly satisfying (the cauliflowers were 28p each and I got 3 of them)
I'm another fan of cauliflower @MovingForwards and love it roasted tooIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

Like the bargains DIA! Good find.... I have had a go at cauliflower rice - simple with a food blender & I froze portions up. I have seen shop frozen portions (Mr T, 4 packs = 600g @ £1.75) and shelf stable pouches over £2! So you are quid's in there.

Hope you got your bike sorted DIA. How did you get on with monzo? I’ve heard good things about their pots. I just have 1 account for presents/ car / dog food / annual bills and keep a separate spreadsheet of the amount in each pot so I wonder if monzo would be better0% credit card £1360 & 0% Car Loan £7500 ~ paid in full JAN 2020 = NOW DEBT FREE 🤗

The v1rg1n current account pays 2% interest upto £1k balance and the linked savings account allows pots to be set up, that pays 0.50% @Skint_yet_Again I highly recommend them.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.4

Thanks @Skint_yet_Again the bike shop have not fixed my bike yet. I so miss it but hey ho...the shop say the tyre has not yet arrived so I am trying to be patient...
I like the pots idea of M0nz0 or Virg1n for that matter. I already have a spare account so going to see if their app meets my needs first. I just need to get my phone set up so I can begin to explore.
Thanks @Irenadler Great idea re freezing the cauliflower. I'll remember that if I have a glut again
Well, IT issues and a migraine have kept me away. My £200 budget is going down and now stands at £111.
In other news, I've been decluttering and sorting mainly. Very dull but necessary. The loft and the garage remain untouched...
