Hope you're feeling better and as you are back I assume the IT issues are resolved.

De-cluttering and sorting is perfect for the cold, dark wintery season and it will be worth it when finished 🤗

Your budget looks ok, we're fast approaching mid-month.

Yes the budget is okay. I only have £62 left as I paid for my bike repairs...

Thanks @MovingForwards I am not stuck in the garage. It took me a few days to work out how to get in as the door was jammed. It wasn't so bad in there stuff wise but tons of cobwebs Eeeek!

Spending down to £43 so I need to be really very careful.

I had a YS haul of organic chicken and a small FR lamb joint so I bought them for the freezer. I should be okay for protein for a bit so the £43 should be enough to get to the end of the month.

Used another account to buy some boots that I may or may not keep. They are very expensive but are 50% reduced so if they fit I will keep them.

I have become much more aware of my spending since posting here. When I get the banking app my awareness will increase.

Edited to say I have the bike back :)

    Hope everyone is okay.

Cobwebs can appear so quickly, even if you get rid of them each day.

That's loads of budget left! Don't spend for spendings sake and look what's in the cupboard before shopping. Recording things helps a lot as it makes us accountable for what we do.

Hopefully you will have some good weather to go out for some nice rides 🤗

Put them in pots, then you can take them to your next home and permanent home.

Herbs are great, easy to get established, quite cheap to buy A1DI and L1D1 sell them, and transform a meal. Dried herbs are ok, but homegrown, dried are even better 🤗

You're doing a lot at home, so have a day or two off, then pick a small section to work on. Can't have you burning out trying to do this on your own.

  • Thanks MF. I already grow herbs here and want to widen this in the new home.

You were probably right about doing too much. My sleep pattern has shifted and not feeling great. I really need to get out daily to keep my mood on an even keel. Yesterday it was horrible weather but today I got out for a walk. Bought some masking tape to seal a few boxes. Also chocolate, nuts, loo roll, tulips and some veggies. My budget now stands at £26. I haven't had any alcohol this year. If I had been buying wine regularly I would not have been in budget for sure.

The boots arrived. They are lovely but only just fit. I'd prefer a bit of room in them, so they are going back. They would need to be perfect to justify the price.  The money will be helpful for paying the CC off in full this month.

Off to make some mini beef burgers to have with soup and salad this evening...
