Building savings to bubblewrap my new life.

The washing machine may be fixable, it's worth having a look before replacing.
Take it one day at a time, deal with the tadpoles as they appear, before they grow into frogs. Saving via SO does mean one less task to do.
You're sounding more positive DIA.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1 -
Thanks MF. Feeling a bit brighter and more energised.
The washing machine has had many fixes and is being held together with tape! I would like to buy her a new one if I can. It's the least I can do. I'm not always in the headspace to deal with tadpoles, when I am I do!
Yes, SO saving is the easiest and least painful way for me to saveIf you have built castles in the air, your work should not be lost; that is where they should be. Now put the foundations under them

In that case a new one would be beneficial. Keep the drum from the old one as a fire pit for your home, nothing like sitting outside round a fire in the cooler evenings.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.1

Thanks @MovingForwards and @savingwannabe
Today I spent too much on a corn fed free range chicken. Had some with roasted veggies. I had a Greek salad for lunch. As the chicken was pricey I will have to make it stretch so lentil and courgette soup with the chicken carcass for stock tomorrow with feta cheese and parsley to top it
This morning I woke up with a headache, nausea and when I looked in the mirror I had a bloodshot eye!!! This follows a stressful day as my relative has taken a downwards step and I saw a mouse in the house! I think all the stress of moving and being in an uncontrolled environment where I have to declutter and clean daily, got to me. I took the day very easy, just a walk, some nice food, a few social calls. A nice bath. Feeling better.
Tomorrow's saving task is to transfer some more funds into PBs tomorrow (in addition to my regular SOs.)

Food sounds great, Greek salads are delicious.
Take this weekend to relax, de-stress and next week work out a bite-sized to do list.
Hope you're feeling better today.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2 -

Thanks @savingwannabe and @MovingForwards. I do feel better today. I'm not sure why as I cracked my new mobile screen and it will cost a fortune to fix. Hopefully that is the end of a run of horribleness!
I found out the PB saving I was so proud of is bouncing back and I am then spending it as the SO has the wrong reference on it too. I am in the process of getting this sorted.
Good money saving was putting monies into my saving accounts.
Thinking of putting funds into my CU account again. They are poor at responding but at least the money builds up outside of my regular bank account...
Feelng calmer despite all the stuff that continues to go badly.

Maybe if the weather is good you can go for a walk or picnic at the weekend.Aiming for a minimal spend 20221

I've commented on your other thread about your phone, you can get it fixed.
I did it once after just taking out a contract, didn't get round to buying the protector. I ended up just using tape as my phone still worked.
There's some good interest paying savings accounts, someone has a thread going on in the savings board. It's worth a look.
Find that time away, recharge and things will be better.Mortgage started 2020, aiming to clear 31/12/2029.2
