Can actually see my account now with SP. my balance is 00.00, direct debit is the same as YP, but the last meter reading says 8th of November, which is the date i always entered my reading with YP. any one got any ideads whats happened to the readings i gave SP on the 9th Decenber, whats happens to the credit i had with YP and should i now enter my readings to SP , but i've not recieved a e-mail asking me to.
I'm not going to enter any new readings. You can only view the last submitted readings in the online account, so I want to see what shows up. YE has reported the readings we supplied until they pulled the functionality from their site, so we can be reasonably assured they were submitted correctly and validated. SP probably just need to process them.
Credit will follow the final bill from YE. The final bill could materialise any time in the next 2-3 months.

Yes, my SP account now seems fully functional and last meter readings are the routine monthly ones I gave YE, not the ones I submitted to SP in response to their request. Yesterday they were still saying they were in the process of switching the gas, but today that message has gone, so I'm assuming the gas transfer is complete although a check of the national database still shows Daisy Energy. I expect it will show the change when it's next refreshed, perhaps overnight tonight. Slightly surprised that this has happened over a holiday weekend.

It's not letting me apply for WHD still. I hope it doesn't end before they sign me up properly.

More importantly the entire scheme lasted 10 years and ends in March 2021 so unless you were under a WHD company already it's not going to happen for you this year or next.

Wow I started looking for another supplier just in case SP ever switch me.
And looked at avro and got a quote.
But in the quote it mentions they take the first DD, 12 days after signing up to the Tarrif.
But as far as I am aware there is a 14day cooling off period before they can initiate a switch to them.
SO in a nutshell they want to take money from my bank before I am a customer!!!!!!!
HOW CAN THAT EVEN BE LEGAL
What if I change my mind on day 13 or the switch was rejected.
Then again will SP ever switch me to them anyway
    What a load of b******t.

It's not uncommon for the cheaper providers to require advanced payment to cover usage over the following month. Your switch will probably complete only a week or so after the payment is taken.

If you change your mind on day 13 or 14 then you can cancel your contract and they will have to refund any monies taken.

No different to entering a mobile phone or broadband contract. A lot of providers will take an upfront payment on the day of purchase. It doesn't affect your right to withdraw within 14 days, at which point they would refund any monies paid.
