Shedman said:No, the meter reading on 7th will serve as your opening meter reading for SP.You would be able to challenge the reading dated 30/11 being used as the opening reading for SP. They either need to estimate another 6 days usage or take the reading you submitted on 7/12.Given that people are seeing all sorts of different things on their online accounts, I wouldn't make any assumptions based on information shown there.0

Woohoo! Saw this on my Scottish Power account page this evening! Excellent! I started my switch yesterday. The electricity has been unsuccessful, but Green.energy has re-applied today.0 -
Having just looked at my still accessible YE account all is working with the exception of being able to leave a meter reading. The reading I supplied on 1/12 to YE and the reading supplied to SP on 7/12 shown as a customer read are there. I never supplied my DD info to SP and believe my switch to Neon reef is ongoing as I have given a new read on 29/12 so perhaps those who are in the SP quagmire of SOLR have reduced access. Happy new year .

Just checked again and I now appear to have full access to the features on the app including the ability to Refer a Friend.....know anyone that wants to join SP
Both the meter readings I submitted earlier today are appearing now as previous readings on the meter entry tab (although I haven't found what they are treating as opening readings anywhere yet).
However, checking my personal details tab, they have my correspondence address as some completely different address and postcode (although in the right town) despite the right details appearing on the Home page! You really couldn't make this up..1 -
Gas is now showing as being SP on the Find My Supplier site...hallelujah.Happy New Year everyone by the way.0

Mine is setup as well. Looking for switching. Symbio energy is coming cheapest for leccy(saving £150/yr) but the feedback looks dire. Neon Reef is 2nd best(138 saving). Is Neon any better?
ThanksI wanted to thankyou a million times but its a shame that I can press the button just once :T0 -

ThanksMy stepdaughter is with Neon Reef for Electric. Switch went smoothly although still (5 months on) she hasn't had a bill as they can't get the verified opening reading but that seems to be due to SSEs incompetence so can't comment on bill accuracy or speed of production (one of YE strong points). Website and App are basic but functional. Meter readings easy to submit and can submit photo. No telephone contact but they have responded quickly and helpfully to emails (although last one sent on 27th hasn't been responded to yet but might due to Xmas period).
So happy enough so far with caveat about not having been able to check that billing is accurate.
I see they raised their tariff somewhat from the 11.9p/kWh she is still paying but still kept the daily SC the same...hopefully this will mean that they will stay around for a while (and that they can afford to keep her tariff for a couple more months as it's all electric flat with no storage heaters!)1 -
Symbio actually looks ok if you understand their quirky billing system. Most of the complaints centre around their variable direct debit system which overestimates the next months usage and carries some credit forward, but this doesn't look any worse than the fixed price DD regime where several months credit can build up.
