Dare I ask whether having the enforced SOLR counts as a change of supplier? Where does one find these rues OFGEM?0 -
My elec grid is UK Power Networks (https://www.ukpowernetworks.co.uk/internet/en/help-and-advice/who-is-my-supplier/#itop) and their database does show SP. However like others, my gas is still saying Daisy. Requested my switch to Avro yesterday so will see what happens.
I expect it will be fun trying to get my £125 back from SP that YE owed me, especially with their great customer service ratings. That will probably be gone by the time SP send their first bill at whatever extortionate rates they have us all on but we must have rights here, they cant just dump us on any tariff they like and expect us to pay it when we didn't sign up to it in the first place, I can't see how they have any legal case at all if we simply refuse to pay a company and tariff we didn't sign up to.

Section 3.14 is quite vague
3.14. Ofgem policy: A SoLR must be able to operate the relevant change of supplier processes and bring the customers onto the SoLR’s own systems promptly in order to minimise disruption to customers and other industry participants.
Make of that what you will. My guess is that any subsequent transfers from SP are probably dependent on when the industry databases are showing that transfer of supllies has taken place. Effectively it seems that, from a pricing and accounting point of view, we will have been with SP since December 6th but from an industry move perspective we are treated as being SP customers only from 30th December (for Electricity) and ???? (for Gas). When I moved from BG at the start of the year to YE there were different dates for the Electricity and Gas supplies. Nobody can explain that. Fingers crossed that there is little difference in these dates this time round1 -

That says "You can use our online who is my supplier search, found on our homepage".
On the homepage there is text "Find out who your electricity supplier is and how to contact them".- but there's no action button; nothing to click!

Did you miss this box on the right-hand side of the page I linked? If for some reason the 'Find out more' button isn't working for you (works for me on this page and the homepage) then someone posted a direct link to the lookup form earlier in the thread, doing a thread search for westernpower should find it.0 -
Despite having provided SP with all details when asked, the database still shows me as stuck with YE (electricity only). This is getting quite frustrating.0

I used the link to the enwl page and having put in my postcode it only listed 4 properties either side of me, my postcode covers at least 30 addresses so I cant say for sure who has my electricity supply, the link for gas supplier correctly named Zog. It's surprising just how much time and effort it takes to find out simple information when dealing with anything to do with energy providers especially if you have to phone them up.
