  • The same with me. I submitted mine on the 8th and they used this for the closing reading on YE. Also 'estimated' another reading on the 20th Dec, I  wonder why?

    Looks like the SP site is down now. I can't login on my computer or using the app on my phone.

    Yes same here but the reassuring point for me is that this customer reading was the one I provided direct to SP via their one (and only) email which had the link in.  This was slightly higher than the last reading I was able to give to YE ( a few days earlier which I also see).  So to me this last customer read that I now see on YE's site should be the final/opening verified read used in the final billing process .  Also as the date (for this customer read) was 5th December I am hoping that the final debit/credit from YE can now be calculated with some degree of certainty.   :smile:

    Yep, the SP meter reading given on 8th December has also appeared on my YE account dated as 5th December . So SP have sent the values across successfully and I get a few extra pennies saving as I get 3 more days of energy at YE prices. Which might offset the extra to be paid for those same days standing charges to SP. Swings and roundabouts.
    But is does show activity and hopefully as the reading has past into YE records, it has been approved by the Industry meter readings middleman. And then YE can bill us and SP can credit our accounts promptly.
    Fingers crossed.
  • I can still login to my YE account but nothing added since my last DD on 24/11. No invoices since 21/11, no further DD taken (although it says my next payment is due on 24/1), no MRs shown for Dec & no facility to add any new MRs on YE site, although I didn't expect to be able to do so.  Not been invited by SP to create a new Login ID for their site. SP not yet set up a new DD although they told me that that have had the details passed by YE (seems they didn't get my reply to their original email !!?). My biggest worry is the size of my first bill when they do get around to sorting it out esp considering my new SP tariff is 52% higher than the old YE one.

    YE have estimated for me too, but it's my usual date for an estimate for a bill if I hadn't provided a reading so maybe it's just an automated process. It also says next month for taking a direct debit, no mention of not getting one this week so again that's probably automatically generated. It would be nice to have the estimated bill as my final and get an extra 17 days of YE prices but I doubt it.

    If you were billed by YE for that energy it would result in you paying for the same energy twice, paying two sets of standing charges, and having to claim the amount YE charged you from the administrators. SP will certainly be billing you using the opening readings you provided now they have been validated, and will be charging standing charges from 6th.

    I can log into my account and it says 
    "Right now, we’re in the process of switching your electricity over to us. As soon as your switch is complete, you’ll be able to view and manage your account here."
    No mention of gas, and there is a button below that says check the progress of your switch clicking on that just put me in a loop it returns back to the page to login, I did click on submit a meter reading and like the others it says Nov 1902 but no readings at all I gave my meter readings over the phone at the beginning of all this .
    Checking YE it still shows my over £200 credit balance...
  • Looking at my account homepage it says DD £50 when I click on the link manage your DD it says I am paying £25!!!!
